Target shoppers! Just a heads up that it looks like the Valentine’s Day clearance is up to 90% off! Check out this email from Hip2Save reader, Rachel:
Hi Collin! I checked the North West Boise Target this morning and scored some great deals…. especially on The Dollar Spot clearance items, which are 90% off along with Valentine’s Day stuff! I got reusable bags, chocolate sticks, Werther’s candy and more – all for just 10¢ a piece. Also, scored a couple Valentine’s pillows for just $1.49 each (I was lucky and found them in the home goods section), gift bags for 15¢ and SweetTarts for $1.49! 🙂

I just came home from Target and found a pretty (non Valentine looking) scarf that was 30 cents. I thought it was $3. It was not with the Valentine items. I bought it and then went to look at the Valentine items but made a goal not to buy any clearance items this year. I am trying to develop a minimal lifestyle.

Me too. I’ve been trying to resist some of the sales! But if it’s 90% off food items I eat, I snatch them. Or Legos. My son likes Legos and they don’t take up much room. 🙂
I am a minimalist.. I bought things to donate to a local kids charity along with .47 finds at Old Navy.
I did to. Many items at 90%. Make sure you scan before going to the register.
Oh man. I just checked and my target still has some of those lego city car sets left!

I swear the people in my city are savages…the shelves are always cleared by the time it reaches 50% off!
Haha!! It’s even worse in my city, most of it goes at 30%!
I feel the need to buy the 10 cent tote bags for a kids party but I don’t even have kids😹

You can always use it as gift bags for birthdays! That’s what I do and I love that you can reuse the bag for anything!

I went yesterday and they had fabric storage bins (large and small) in the Valentine’s day clearance section. They were stripped and didn’t have hearts or anything Valentine’s day-ish on them. They were only $.90- 1.50, at 70% off, so they would only be $.30-.70 today at 90% off. They have similar ones in their closet/ storage section for $9.99+, so it’d be worth looking for 🙂
I like using those tote bags instead of regular gift bags for kids birthday present, they get to enjoy the gift and the bag!

Our target only has things marked down 70%.
I saw this and decided to head over. I’m so glad I waited to buy stuff. Nothing was marked but because of this post, I started scanning and sure enough tons of things were 90% off. I got a pretty twig and berry heart shaped wreath for $1.90, tons of Nick erasers for my son’s class for 10 cents, Star Wars notebooks and plaques for birthday goodie bags all 10 cents, craft stuff, paper plates etc. I came home with 5 full bags and spent $20!!
I am glad some people are getting so lucky, both th eTargets in my area are still at 30% and really have nothing but sweettarts 🙁 However, I did find Weight Watchers 6ct frozen Novelties on Clearance for $2.38 – The 20% CW worked and I had $1 qs from RP. I got several boxes for $0.90 each!

Ours in northern Ca were 90% but signed as 50%. Got some great deals. Not much left but still some gift bags, cards and little craft kits.

Ours was not marked as 90, but was. There were a lot of the lego car sets in the check out aisles for 36 cents.
Moline, IL had signs up for 50% and 70%. Nothing in dollar spot but gifts, candy, baby clothes, and Valentine’s by Easter stuff. Some stuff rang up 90%. Scored a 5pc. mug set for .99 and a onesie for .59!!!!

scored some great deals at my local target. got m&ms 30pcs pack for 1.49, dove chocolate bags for 1.10. wilton valentines cookie cutter set for .79. wall calendar and planners for .10 each. cute erasers (my lil pony, snoopy, paw patrol, teenage mutant ninja turtles) for .10. Shopkins sticker sets for .10, amd frozen tattoos for .40..
I was able to get 2 heart pillows , 2 other Valentine pillows for $1.49 each.

Make sure to price check! The sign at my store said 50% but everything scanned 90% off! My store had TONS of stuff
Candy was still 50 percent but other stuff was 90 percent. That was weird.
Candy 70% off, non-candy 90% off. Got some cute valentines for 25 cents. Mustache valentines with little tattoos for you finger 😉
Went this morning to 3 separate Targets and only one had a mega Valentine’s Day clearance. Bought character note pads, TMNT bin, troll eraser, Avengers and TMNT canvas, Minions, TMNT, and Paw Patrol sticker activity books, TMNT and Spider Man beanies, Minions Mega Bloks surprise bag, Star Wars signs, Star Wars calendar, Rose Art play dough, Crayola body wash pen, Paw Patrol, TMNT, and Minions sticker boxes, cork board and wipe board … All of these items priced for less than 40 cents! Total savings was $76!
Got a carters long sleeve and pants set for 99 cents yay! Also got a few paw patrol and minion box kits and some candy, not too much left other then placemats and frozen valentines.
