That’s where living with my guy comes in handy — he’s a computer technician with a degree in computer technology and engineering and he unlocked our Kindles and installed Google Play on them. He also got rid of the commercial add suggestions without payment. We didn’t use any illegal software, it just took some good coding.

Thank you workaholic! Only trying to being funny! While I still think it’s ridiculous to pay that much for an iPad, which my son will soon take over, I am not bashing anyone who would pay that much! Everyone has their limits!
Everyone loves Apple, however, Android has some great products. I guess it’s all in what you’re after and used to and willing to pay out. I prefer Android and Windows products after experiencing Apple too.
One of reasons why the pro is so expensive is it works with the I pencil. It is targeted at professional artists, not just for Internet, email, etc…
I have the iPad Pro and this is an amazing price for it. The iPad Pro is also an awesome device as it is. I got a keyboard to go with it as well as the pencil, and being a college student I now no longer need to carry around folders and notebooks and I’m also able to use it like a laptop. I highly recommend it for anyone!

surface pro 3 or surface 3 is better if they want to use onenote.
iPad notability app is the best for note taking in college. I was able to download PDFs, PowerPoint presentations( write on the slides as professors explained material) voice recorded the lessons. I was also able to download books. I was able to add subjects and write out notes like I would in a regular notebook. All in one device! I love my iPad.

It will be obsolete quickly and you wont be able to use new apps so it’s an expensive device to buy every year or so. That is the only thing I don’t like about Apple. We do own some apple to buy going away from it for that very reason. It does not work any better than other devices. I used to think they where great for the technology illiterate but other devices are there too now. Great product if you have unlimited money to continuously buy the newest.
Many sites suggest saving $ by buying refurbished yet the savings is only $70. This seems like an incredible savings! Thx for posting.
