I took advantage of this offer the last time it was available and here’s my advice: pass on it unless you’re okay with having a long relationship with this company. I thought the food was decent, their ice cream is great, but everything is quite expensive so it wasn’t worth it to me to be a repeat customer. I’ve tried to detach from them and am still trying! When you try to unsubscribe, they still send emails. I’ve called to stop having their delivery person just stopping by unsolicited, but they still came. It’s a headache to be sure. My next step is the BBB. Just be aware of that before you buy.

i think it depends on your driver. My driver sends out an email asking if I want to have food delivered that week… they deliver every other week. I kindly told him the first time I ordered that I will place an order online if I ever want food. He doesn’t stop at the house, he doesn’t call, I don’t write back to his emails. He just knows now to show up unless I place an order online. I agree that everything is pricey but my family finds we like a lot of the stuff better than grocery store products and I don’t order unless there is some kind of coupon. You have to wait and be patient for them! We like the beef pot roast, the breakfast pizza, meat lovers pizza, chicken fries, there are several other things but they aren’t coming to mind. If I could order again using this coupon I would be in heaven.
I did this and told the driver it was a one time thing and they never bothered me again. Personally I thought it was well worth trying they have some great items but a little pricey for me so half off was great.
I do think it depends on your driver. We got in on this deal a year ago or so and told him we only wanted him to stop by if we ordered online. He put in some code in the system and literally doesn’t show up unless I place an order. Super nice guy and always comes on time. YMMV I guess!
I’m sorry to hear about your experience. My experience was awesome. We loved everything we got and we have a super nice driver. After the second visit I switched over to him only coming when I order online. One phone call was all it took. Maybe try calling back again.
After reading your replies, it does seem to be just my driver. Maybe the way to go for me is to report the driver to the company. Thank you for your replies!

Based on what I picked I got alot for $50.00. I’ll update here if the experience or food is horrible
My parents have been buying from them for 35 years great food nice service. Works great if you have a solo freezer in the garage. they will just fill the order and place in freezer. you do not have to place an order online to get food. they will just stop by every two weeks. works great for elderly. they used to carry milk, eggs and detergent the everyday essentials, saved my neighbor who was almost 90 from having to drive to the store.

Any recommendations from hip2savers? What ice cream do you like best? Products that are better quality than what you would find in regular grocery stores?
I love all of the ice cream and the chocolate brownie frozen yogurt is great! We also love the frozen veggies (the larger ones come in resealable bags so you only use what you need!). The frozen corn tastes so much better than any frozen corn I’ve ever purchased at the grocery store. The biscuits are great (nice and flaky). We also buy the chicken fries every 2 weeks, which our kids all love! And, my husband is a fan of the chocolate chip ice cream cookie sandwiches! We haven’t bought too many things we didn’t enjoy😀

The frozen choc chip cookie dough makes really delicious cookies! The fudge ripple ice cream in little tubs is fantastic. The frozen cheese tortellini is wonderful. I liked the frozen pizzas I tried, too.
My Grandmother always used to order their products. I remember eating ice cream and many other frozen treats.
I think the driver’s might receive some commission so there is incentive for them to just stop by BUT they should honor your request.

I love Schwan’s. I wish I could use this coupon. Couple things is they accept good stamps. .which is great for older people that can’t get the store easy and they have Schwan’s pay..which with your bank account info they will give you up to two weeks to pay.
