   I went to my local store today and plenty of shoes under $20. I purchased 5 pair of sneakers 2 shoe boots. 2 pair of jeans a sweater and a book for $150 after 15% coupon saved a little over $400. Brands Adidas, Nike, 2 converse, tek & Jennifer Lopez for shoes.

   I was at Kohl’s a week or so ago and stumbled on their holiday clearance aisle (separate from the many, many endcaps of clearance and the “regular” home clearance aisles). They still had Halloween clearance that wasn’t marked down enough to actually sell. It was like the holiday store: two messy aisles of Halloween, fall, Christmas, and Valentines day clearance. There were a ton of Christmas snack giftboxes (the kind with popcorn, nuts, etc.) that were not priced to sell. The prices were so high that I thought they had to be mismarked, so I scanned them, but nope. I guess that’s why they had so much! At this point, they might as well keep the Halloween and fall stuff since they’ll be putting it out again in a few months! I saw some of the Yankee candle stuff, but I can get better deals at Yankee Candle. Ugh. Not a fan of Kohl’s.

   Word of advice on the CuddlDuds.. DO NOT BUY! These are one of the most comfortable sheets I have slept on, BUT they shed EVERYWHERE. I found a set on clearance for 29.99 from 149.99 in king size. We had just bought a new King bed and needed sheets. They do feel amazing and are the right temperature to sleep in but the fuzz if awful. If looking for the comfort I highly recommend Berkshire sheets if washed properly there is no fuzz what so ever. I had the CuddlDuds on for one night it was just not worth it. I am still trying to get off my pillows, comforter, mattress pad, clothes!!

   Yes the clearance was definitely picked through! but I picked up 4 fiesta plates for $1.60 each, and a few other larger fiesta pieces remained and a lot of Christmas n Valentines and other miscellaneous items.
