I have two pair in my online card, but hesitating as I read some reviews saying the quality (at least for the boys jeans) has declined. Any one have similar experience?
They are soooo much thinner then they used to be. My son got holes on the knees after wearing them twice 🙁 all we used to own was children’s place. Now we pay a little more for OshKosh or cat&jack they last way longer.
I use to buy the Children’s Place jeans for my son all the time because of the good deals. Lately though I have noticed that the quality has definitely gone downhill. My son doesn’t play too rough but he is coming home with big holes in his new jeans after two or three wear. I’m buying him jeans from Gymboree or Target now because the quality, in my opinion, is much better.
We stopped buying Children’s Place jeans. You can buy Target’s Cat & Jack on sale for just a few dollars more and they have a 1 year warranty. I returned 2 pair just a few weeks ago for holes in the knees and had no problem getting my money back. I then re-bought 2 pair and I get another 1 year warranty! I’ve had no problems with CP quality with shirts, though.
Where can I learn more about this warranty? Holes on the knees and holes in the shoes in addition to lost items seem to be the theme in our household, lol
Hi!! Have a quick question and would be so apreciative of any help that can be provided, please. My little one is absolutely obsessed with his ‘jean pants’ and is very tall and skinny for his age and is just about ready to outgrow the trousers he has. Can’t remember which ones I purchased before the school year started and can’t check due to cutting the labels out, but believe I purchased the regular skinny and super skinny ones. Is there a significant difference, size and fit wise, between the slim and regular fit?
Yes. The slims are quite a bit smaller on the waist. You can make the regular work because they are adjustable, but the waist will be really bunched up. I only buy the slims for my beanpole son.
Thanks! I ordered some
You’re welcome Ashley!
Yep. Not worth it. I used to look forward to these Children’s Place deals and for 5 years we lived in these jeans. But they are ridiculous. Holes after 2 times of wearing.
A better deal is Cat and Jack and Urban Pipeline.
Darn! Sorry to hear they have not held up well 🙁 Thanks for your honest feedback!
Can you use any amount of Place Cash on orders over $20, or is it $10 place cash per $20 order?
It’s $10 off $20 spent. Even when it’s double place cash it’s just 2 $10 off $20 vouchers not $20 off $20 like it seems
So disappointed in the reviews. Already bought 3 pairs. I’m just hoping they last until shorts weather. 😬
I’m not really sure what the other reviewers are talking about. I bought these at the beginning of the school year for my 6 year old (4 pairs) and he wears one of the almost every day and they have been really great. No wholes or fading. He wears them to school, gym, recess, and outside after school. I think they are about the same quality as Targets Cat and Jack brand.
I have 1 $10 off $20 purchase coupons from pampers, expires 12/31. Willing to trade.
I buy children’s place jeans for my 3 boys, and they last long enough to hand down.
Thanks! My 7 year old boy gets holes in every pair of pants after 2 months regardless of brand so this is a great deal to me. We have Old Navy, Gymboree, Cat & Jack, Faded Glory, Wrangler, Osh Kosh, Arizona. I’m beginning to think iron on patches inside the knees of cheap jeans is the way to go.
Great idea Bridget! You’re very welcome!
