Are these available at regular Targets or just Super Targets (the ones with full grocery selections)?
I got a couple yesterday at my regular Target. They had a small selection though.
Great thanks! I’ll also check my Aldi, between the two hopefully I can grab a couple
Meijer has same hams for 97 cents a lb
My Aldi’s had honey ham for 50% off yesterday making it .85/lb! I wasn’t sure if that was a good price, but now I’m glad I bought one.
The one I usually get at Target is wrapped in foil. I wonder about difference
I think the difference is this one is bone in and the foil ones are boneless.
Meijer’s also has a Cook’s Spiral ham for 97 cents a pound, limit of one per customer.
Hi friends,
What’s your favorite way to prepare ham? I can’t seem to master it. If I bake it, it takes forever (much longer than the recommended amount of time per pound, which makes it really difficult to time getting everything on the table). I’ve tried in the slow cooker, with mixed results (sometimes perfect, sometimes super dry).
Preheat oven to 350. You are going to bake this ham a total of 20 min per pound. In small saucepan put 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup honey, & 1/4 cup Dijon mustard. Cook on low for a couple min until sugar is dissolved. Set aside to cool. Place ham on rack cut side down in roaster. Cover with foil with corner vented. Bake 1/2 the time. Remove foil and smear sugar mix all over top. Cook rest of time uncovered.
Last year these went on super clearance after Xmas and we stocked up!
I also loaded up last year after Christmas!
Nice having several hams in the freezer to enjoy thru the year
