I was doing that too. When you add the codes, it adds the products. I tried adding the products then the codes and it added 2 of everything. So, just put the codes in and it takes care of everything. Hope that helps!

Thank you for this deal! I have had their products but it’s been several years. I’m happy to repurchase their products after reading their message. I support their message & have love for all, as do they. To say it’s hateful for calling out certain government officials for not doing the same is honestly baffling to me. Peace, love and equal rights to all, not just your social circle.
The best spices ever, for a most incredible price with this offer. I get their emails regularly so I do understand what the “political references” mean in the comments of those above. However, you have to search their site high and low to see any “political references”. The comments above sound more like wounded pride from those who prefer to make political statements themselves. I’ve been buying spices from them for years! First received a sampler box of spices as a gift, then started buying them for myself and to give to others. Excellent quality, amazing customer service, and their brand encourages putting love & kindness out in the world (and I think we can all agree that’s a good thing, no matter how you feel about politics). Thanks for the tip, I’ll be ordering a few more spices tonight! PS: if you’re looking to add to your gift closet, the teacher’s box is really affordable (less than $10 retail) & has always been a big hit with the educators I’ve given it to.

I love Penzeys. I wish I had a store closer. Luckily they are very generous with the specials so often I can get them shipped for free. I’m disappointed at all the people who are exploiting a glitch in the system that allows you to avoid the minimum purchase requirement. Just because you CAN do something, doesn’t mean you SHOULD. They are offering up to $25 in product for $9 shipped and you’ll take advantage of their generosity. I hope they manually audit their orders.

I figured it out. You need to have $5 worth of other product for it to work. So I was trying to buy mint with it for $3 & that didn’t work. When I added something else totaling $6 it worked.

I’m not buying because of customer service.I had did a similar deal a few years ago (that hiptosave posted) and had made two orders, one for my house and one for my mother’s house. I had used my credit card to pay, they took the orders and then cancelled my mom’s with no response to let us know. I called to ask why and customer service was Nasty and insinuated I was wrong and was only supposed to get one deal with the coupon. What?!! I was just trying to help my mother with limited internet put an order in…unbelievable. They lost two customers that day.

I was excited to get my free box of spices, until I opened the box and read your political blurb. Don’t we get enough hatred everywhere else? Do spices have to become involved? What did cinnamon ever do to this country?

It works for any 1/2 cup spice under $9.95. Don’t add the item to your cart, add the item number followed by a ‘C’ at the end in the promo code. It will add that item to your cart and show cost as $0.00.
But you have to spend $5, which I did easily!
Hey everyone! If you didn’t spend the $5 minimum and used a second code to get the 1/2 hot coco double check your email to make sure your order didn’t get cancelled. Mine ended up cancelled but luckily the code still works and since I have never tried this brand before I didn’t order a lot the first time, but after hearing some of the positive reviews I made a small purchase of $10 and was able to use both coupons (free box set and 1/2 of the hot coco)!
Mine got cancelled. I will have to reorder. It said I can reorder and buy something for $5 to get the other freebie.

I did this with both deals, and today I received an email saying they’ve canceled my order. Apparently you have to spend $5 not including shipping to receive the hot chocolate.

I also received an email saying my order was cancelled. However, I have not received a refund on my credit card account. Has anyone else with cancelled orders received a credit for their purchase? Their email indicated that you can reorder with at least a $5.00 purchase and receive the Mini Soul Box for free and another 1/2 cup jar of another item for free. Or, you can simply get the soul box for free and just pay the $3.95 for shipping.
I got the same email and have not received a refund. It seems like it usually takes a few days for refunds to process/post to bank acct or cr. card. Debating if I want to re-order or just let it go…
My order was cancelled also and no refund yet. I went ahead and reordered because I love their spices. If they don’t refund the original charge in a few days I’ll contact them. I’m actually glad they gave me the opportunity to reorder since the original purchase didn’t meet the $5 minimum requirement like it should have.
