  Coupons would be great, but the printed form states “Purchase Amount, up to $10 less taxes and any coupons used”.

  This is purely anecdotal but I have never once had the amount of a rebate be decreased because a coupon was used regardless of the fine print always saying it will be. I always assumed that it was because it would be more trouble than it’s worth trying to determine if a coupon was used. Some stores just say “Coupon -$3.00” below the list of items you purchased. Unless the item was the only thing you purchased they may have no idea that you used a coupon for that particular item. There are also situations where you might be redeeming rewards to get the item at a discount, target gift card with purchase offers decreasing the amount you are technically paying for the item, etc. You’re usually told to circle the purchase price of the item but much of the time the ‘true’ purchase price isn’t directly listed as a line item anywhere on the receipt and can only be figured out by doing some calculations (if it can be determined at all). I always just circle the base price of the item and that is the amount of the rebate I receive every single time. Maybe I have always just been lucky, but I just don’t think a person getting paid peanuts to process rebates is interested in taking 10 minutes to try to figure out if there’s a way to knock a dollar of of my rebate amount.

  Sandra, in the 1/07 SS coupons there’s a BOGO so both will be free after you submit for the refund.

    I have tried several times to print this form out from different printers. I keep getting a blank page. What’s up with the rebate form? I bought the product, paid for the product and trying to get the rebate.

  Why does the post on Hip2Save say the rebate is “BEFORE COUPONS”?? The rebate form clearly states “LESS COUPONS AND TAXES.” Don’t get me wrong, I’m NOT the coupon or rebate police but I have seen it soo many times that I’m sick of it! On all the blogs I follow, they are showing this Hip2Save post. The comments go back and forth. People think that because it is posted on your site, it is Bible. Whatever amount someone gets back, doesn’t matter to me. I just wish the post would be corrected to reflect what the actual Bic Rebate Form states.
