Just out of curiosity…how do these hold up? I’m done with children’s place because they’re thin now and ripping. Cat and Jack have been good so far but I like this price.
I’ve been really happy with the pants I have purchased from Crazy 8. I bought some black skinny Rockstar jeans and a pair of Rockstar cords for my 10-year-old son who is impossible to fit (he’s super tall and super skinny). They fit him great and the quality is excellent, especially for the price and the free shipping. Worth trying a pair or two to see how well you like them. I also got some of their performance fleece pants that they had at Christmas and fell in love with them too. All the pants at Old Navy where I normally buy for him are so huge in the waist. I bought the performance fleece at Crazy 8 in every color and only regret not buying the next size up too. He’s wearing a size 12 now and they go up to 14. I wish I would have tried them much, much sooner!!
I absolutely hate them. They’re cute and appear to be nice quality. However, my son has holes in the knees after 2-3 wears. I’ve tried several different styles. The quality just isn’t there anymore, IMO.
I am dating myself with this so I hope you will all appreciate this, but my mother always turned all our jeans inside out and took Jean patches and Ironed them onto the knees of all our jeans and they lasted longer. I did the same with my child but although I have bought and really like crazy 8 jeans I haven’t done the patches with him simply because I do not iron for anyone anymore!!!!
We just discovered Crazy 8 jeans about 8 months ago, and they have held up really well for my boys. I liked that I could take both of my boys who are built completely different and find great fitting jeans for both of them in the same store.
Not Worth the $8 – they look like $8 jeans and they are so inconstant in the sizing that it isn’t worth even trying them. I ordered a couple of pairs of boys jeans for two of my sons and the lengths (in the same sizes) varied by INCHES! None ran long, some were just so extremely short…and they shrink a fair amount more. Don’t waste your $8…I usually buy them Gap jeans (never had a pair actually wear out yet!) but appreciate a good price and have tried old navy (all over the map – some are good 🙂 ) and children’s place, too. Children’s place jeans are good if you want to go cheap, Gap is best for quality. BUT…my mom just “bought” (they ended up free or under $5, depended on the shade of blue :)) a few pairs of Arizona boys jeans because of the $10 coupons she always gets from JC Penny and I have to say, they look super cute on and are very high quality (tough jean fabric with good stitching!!!) I think they are usually priced pretty low even without a coupon – worth trying! I was quite surprised!
My 5 year old has several pairs of these jeans and she absolutely loves them. She is quite rough on her clothes and we have yet to have any of them “wear out.” Her sister is now wearing her hand me downs and they still look perfect. I love how long they are and that they come in a slim…,perfect for my skinny long legged girls.
So great to hear that they work so well for your girls. Thanks for the feedback!
