Has anyone used the kids version I am wondering if it makes them sleepy? I’m trying to avoid the drowsiness.
It doesn’t make my son drowsy
If you don’t mind me asking how old is he?
I think it depends on the child? Ours don’t get drowsy even if that is our intended outcome.😆
My daughter uses it on our boat and it has never made her sleepy.
My boys are 8 and 9 and it doesn’t make them tired.
The kids version contains dimenhydrinate which will make them sleepy.
The main ingredient is basically Benadryl which causes drowsiness.
The natural version actually works. I was highly skeptical but had no problems. The main downside was that it’s a every 4-6 hours med instead of all day. But for most activities that’s fine.
What is the natural version?
It’s 500mg of ginger (zingiber officinale) (root). So basically a ginger pill. You take two capsules. The capsules don’t have much of a taste which is nice because I don’t like the flavor of ginger.
I used this for plane rides, boat rides, and at amusement parks.
Thanks, I am going on cruise this month and was going to buy this.
You’re welcome, Shey!
Does anyone ever use thing when going to amusement parks?!! Uggghhhh 😩
Yes! It works for me but I do avoid anything too extreme that really spins you around a lot. 😉
I used it at Universal. I get motion sick quite easily both from physical movement and from watching 3D. I was able to ride the rides with severe movement and multiple screens with 3D videos along with the water rides with big drops. I never got sick. You can combine with sea bands if you’re nervous.
I also used this med when I was taking small speed boats from island to island while in the Galapagos. That was extreme bouncing.
Thanks ladies! Universal killed me! I hate those 3D simulator rides, which seem to be the thing now!
Yes! I use these for plane trips and Disneyland. Can’t go on rides without them.
Where the heck are they? I walked up and down the aisles and couldn’t find them! Pain relief? Allergy? Help!?!
They should be in the section with the stomach medicines. Hope that helps!
