Trader Joe’s makes an amazing product called “Everything but the Bagel” sesame seasoning blend. It is a MUST, if you make homemade bagels and breads!
Yes! Was just coming to say this! LOVE Everything But The Bagel Sprinkles! 😍
2 words – avocado toast
My husband just told me to go stock up because we finally tried it and he is hooked.
That does sound good! 😉
That’s what I do!!! Avocado on toast with Trader Joe’s seasoning!
Yes this! so so good on avocado toast 😀
A favorite in my household! And the kids love it! Best on avocado and/or eggs!
I LOVE avocado and eggs! I must try it! Thanks for the suggestion!
WHAT ELSE is a must have from Trader Joe’s? I’m going later today
My family is obsessed with the orange chicken. We love it on the vegetable fried rice.
The cold brew coffee bar is amazing. The orange chicken, chicken chili lime burgers, cheddar cheese popcorn, all the seasonings. The produce and fruit is fantastic!!! One of my favorites is the chopped kale/cabbage/lettuce. The low prices just blow my kind….
Their strawberry banana yogurt is so good too! Also their spinach artichoke dip, their sriracha ranch sauce, kung pao chicken & I agree with the orange chicken as well!
The candy coated sunflower seed nuts… like peanut m&m’s only better!!!
OMG Yes! I just tried those 2 weeks ago and I almost made two trips to TJ’s in one day just to get more, LOL.
I’d also recommend the tempura cauliflower, the cauliflower tabbouleh, and the tomato soup crackers.
Love the tea tree shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Plus I recently discovered their roasted potatoes, oh so good with an egg and syrup.
I usually get a basil plant this time of year. Bigger and cheaper than buying one at a nursery for planting. Their olive oil and vinegars are nice. Their packaged nuts and dried fruits are very reasonable.
Another vote for orange chicken. Also, the Greek mango apricot yogurt is so so good, if you don’t mind the crazy fat content. I typically allow myself only half of one small container.
this stuff is amazing
A much more cost effective solution is to buy all the spices and mix them yourself. Recipes are all over the internet for everything bagel spice! It’s delicious though, if you’re into everything seasoning!
Love their Cinnamon Coffee Cake!
I just bought their dishwasher detergent since it had a low EWG rating and it’s done a pretty good job so far! They were also sampling their pita chips with a pear slice and TJ’s Chipolte toscano cheese. OMG, so yummy!
I always buy their Soyrizo; it’s perfect in DIY Chipotle burrito bowls. It’s not greasy and contains no weird animal scraps. My meat loving husband approves!
I have this at home, it’s so great!
Masala veggie burgers (frozen), tortillas, pea burgers(frozen), stuffed vine leaves (can), all nuts butters, cooked falafel (frozen), chikenless nuggets(frozen), and list can go on and on. My main and favorite store ever
Heading to Trader Joe’s this weekend. They are a great company. I lost one of my dogs a couple years ago. I friend went there to get me flowers. They didn’t charge her cause they felt bad also. How can you not love them!!!
I follow a guy on Instagram who puts this on his avocado toast and says it’s amazing! Definitely going to get this today. Thx!
YUMMY!
At TJ: I love the goat brie–and it comes in a light version!
It’s great on homemede hummus!
That sounds yummy!
Ok…I must be missing something. What exactly is Avocado toast? Just what it sounds like…..avocado on toast? Any specific type of bread, etc? Please enlighten me. I must not get out much. LOL!!
Any toast! Just spread avocado and top with what you like. I add tomatoes, red onion, and flaxseed. Some people add sauerkraut. Or just do avocado.
For the folks looking for must trys at t.j – we luv their sheep’s milk feta (clear and yellow wrapper) says from Israel- Amazing!!! Their pub cheese, lemon curd, almond butter, California rolls, dark chocolate, sanfransico sour dough bread and Argentina shrimp- all amazing I also like their tea tree shampoo and lavender dish soap
Love: their pineapple salsa, frozen chocolate croissants, tea tree body wash, gruyere cheese (really all their cheeses are good), vouvray wine, frozen mini quiches and, my favorite, their frozen taste alsace with ham, onions and gruyere
Now you’re just making me hungry!
Made myself hungry just writing it and reading everyone else’s comments, LOL!
I noticed that spell check changed “tarte” alsace to “taste” alsace, but I am sure you get what I meant – and it is delish!
Cookie butter! And all their spread are good.. goddess salad dressing too
Oh I love cookie butter!
Their chocolate covered toffee chips are delicious! I wish there was one closer to me – it’s over an hour away!
This is so good. Love!
Just had this seasoning on my breakfast this morning! Other “must haves” are the Green Dragon Hot Sauce and the Unexpected Cheddar (cheddar cheese, but similar to a parmesan cheese). And you can’t forget their best bargain……2 Buck Chuck!! $2 for a bottle of wine!!!
Another must try: Tarte d’alace. It’s a flat bread and we love them. I always pick up one or two every time I go to TJ.
In addition to many listed … I love there cocoa powder, siracha bbq sauce, dried chili mangos, kettle corn, jasmine rice and sweet & sour sauce. The BBQ and cocoa powder are staples in my pantry … the others are a random treat!
Ya’ll and your comments are making me so hungry!!!
I eat this seasoning almost every day for lunch on cottage cheese. I sprinkle it on and eat it with the Beet or Sweet Potato crackers from Trader Joe’s. So friggin good! I go through so much of this. I keep one bottle in my desk and one at home!
Must Buys for our Family: Korean green onion pancakes, veg/chicken fried rice, Korean short ribs, Organic dollar pancakes, frozen grass-fed beef(taste better then fresh non-organic!), organic bananas & avocados(cheap!!!), organic navels(wish they carry this more consistently), instant Jasmin/brown rice(for some odd reason the organic version does not cook as well!?), Bacon cheddar dip(exact same dip found at Sam’s Club w/members mark sticker, just bigger & cheaper!), Spanish olive oil spray, TJ homemade flour tortillas(so soft!), white cheddar poofs(Def better than pirate boots which is a bit stale tasting:-P)
Artichoke jalapeno dip, caramelized onion and feta bites (frozen), apple chicken sausage
Their Vegan Kale, Cashew and Basil Pesto is awesome!!! It’s a TJ brand. I’ll eat it with rice and veggies OR cut zucchini into spaghetti strands, add in cherry tomatoes, avocado and nutritional yeast (it gives that cheesy flavor).
Also, TJ brand supplements! Organic spirulina tablets are under $5 and their Hemp Protein powder and Pea Protein powder are good quality for the price (the pea protein has more sugar content than I would prefer).
And, lastly, their BEER!! TJ brand beers (JosephsBrau among other names) it’s about $1 per bottle. I’ve had a couple and most of them are really good. Plus you can grab 1 beer out of a pack without being up-charged (ie: $6 for a 6pack = $1/beer); you can mix+match to make up your own 6 pack (they supply their own 6 pack carrier).
I see that pesto ALL OF THE TIME and never get it. Your recipe ideas have definitely pushed me to buy it this weekend! 🙂
Is the orange chicken fresh or frozen?
Their Mandarin Orange Chicken is frozen. It’s delish!
My store is always sold
Out 🙁
I LOVE their 21 Season Salute mix that’s another $1.99 spice. I ran out and wanted to use up other spices, and at Christmas broke down and bought a few of them, one for me and a bunch for gifts.
Ditto on the 21 Season Salute…I literally use it on everything savory that we eat. I actually asked if they would suggest packaging it in a much larger size. I use a jar every few weeks!
I usually buy 6 or more jars of 21 Season Salute at a time. I use it on everything! It is a must buy at Trader Joe’s!
A Family favorite: Herb Roasted Potatoes: Mix 1T of 21 seasoning salute with 1/4 cup olive oil, toss with 4-5 peeled and chopped potatoes, spread on a baking pan and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
Yes, their Vegan Kale, Cashew and Basil Pesto is awesome!
We did a taste test with TJ almond butter and Costco’s . NIght and day. TJ’s won for best flavor hands down! 🙂
My son LOVES their Sriacha Ranch dressing!
So hard to choose. My gluten free family members swear by the gluten free breads , bagels, cookies and cupcakes. I love the nut butters, speculous (cookie) butter, miniature chocolate peanut butter cups. Oh! Frozen cauliflower pizza crust or cauliflower crust pizza. I could go on and on. My husband likes their spiced apple juice. Another favorite are the cards..such a deal! My nearest trader joes is 2.5 hours away. Well worth the trip for us.
I love all of these great suggestions. I’m headed to Trader Joe’s tomorrow and my list just got longer! We love the tzatziki sauce in the refrigerated section, it’s fantastic on grilled chicken pita sandwiches. Other favorites include: creamy tomato soup, soup crackers (my kids love them for snacking), all varieties of their bagged nuts, frozen chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches, frozen mint cookie sandwiches, almond butter, Israeli cous cous, and fresh pizza dough.

Mmm, I just bought this seasoning! Can’t wait to use it on toast and chicken.
“What’s good at Trader Joe’s?”…EVERYTHING. Go aisle by aisle and just give them all of your money.
I must be the only one who doesn’t like this – I found it to be extremely salty?!
You could try using less but it also depends on what you’re adding it to, as a lot of food already has quite a bit of salt in it.
At Amazon it’s $6.39 …. not quite the bargain …
nearest Trader Joe is an hour away …
gonna check the google recipes!
I want to try that seasoning. We love the Trader Joe’s Sunnut Butter, orange chicken, champagne grapes, lemon and herb olives, rice crackers, cookie butter, Sheppard’s pie, hash browns, pretzel rolls, dark roast fair trade coffee, mac n cheese balls, and the $4 wine.
I finally bought one yesterday and got sourdough bread and cream cheese. made myself a little snack this morning – so yum! Thank you! Never would have noticed this stuff at the store.
