If you have the time, the cereal would be a better out of pocket deal to only buy 1 instead of using a coupon and buying 2 or 3. Pay the $3.xx for 1, get the coupon, use it on the next box with a coupon, repeat.
Thanks for the deal idea, Whitney! I chose to purchase 2 boxes of cereal in the first transaction to have my price per box be lower than if I did not have a coupon.
I think Whitney is saying you can get the same 4 boxes, for the price of 1, making these less than a dollar each. You would have to do 4 different transactions, though, rolling the coupon each time. If you had the time and patience for multiple transactions, you could buy as many boxes as are available with the coupon, driving the cost down even more.
This doesn’t really work because the coupon for the free box only applies to specific 5 cereals and none of those include coupons.
Thanks Whitney! We’ll have to check out your tip!
If you have KFR points you can redeem for a $1 coupon.
Thanks for the tip. I forgot about the KFR higher value coupons
Thanks for the heads-up!
You’re welcome!
so does this scenario work if the free boxes does not include the coupon
You will need to grab the specially marked boxes if you would like to grab the Free Cereal.
What am I missing….how are the Nutri Grain bars “cost $0” when you have to buy a box first, then open that box to get the coupon, then buy another box to get a free one? That’s like Buy 2 Get 1 to me. Did I miss something?
The coupon you clip out is for a free box. So you pay $4.38 for that box, clip the coupon and use it on your next purchase to get the 2nd box free. So it’s like 2/$4.38, $2.19 per box.
I went today and found one box left…and someone had cut the coupon out😳🙄 lol. Went to our small marketplace one and was able to get two. Thank you!
I got Nutri Grain mixed berry fruits from Kellogg s and the packages are open ….who do I contact
