$1 McDonald’s Sandwich EVERY Day Through 9/30
Head to McDonald’s where you can score a $1 Sandwich (excludes Signature Crafted Recipe Sandwiches and Double Quarter Pounder) when you show the coupon in your app or use mobile order and pay at a participating McDonald’s.
Even better, you can do this deal once per day, every day through September 30th! Keep in mind that offers may vary per user.
Just open the app and click on “View Deals” to find your offers.

If you haven’t already, head here and download the free McDonald’s app. Once downloaded, click “View Deals” to choose your favorite offer. Then customize your mobile order, apply your coupon, and pay! They don’t make your order until you arrive at the restaurant and check in with your app.

Everyone I know and mine are for 1 time a week too. It was originally once a day several weeks ago, but it changes after the whole Big Mac coin craze. I’m sure McDonald’s figured out how much they were losing and switched it.
What is everyone using these on? I’ve used them in big macs and double quarter pounder. But not sure what else it’s valid on? Idk which ones are considered handcrafted
I’ve used it only on buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich and grilled chicken sandwich. Regular price in Fl. Is about $5.50 for sandwich alone.
I like the double Filet of Fish, but I don’t eat the bread.
The buttermilk crispy sandwich and you can take the bread and not eat it is the best one for the deal.
It’s delicious.
Are McDonald’s store in California for some reason the grilled chicken is like rubber.
I have tried the buttermilk crispy chicken twice and had to throw it in the trash. Terrible.
How do you get the double quarter pounder? Says it’s excluded – well dbl QPC
I’ve used it on the Quarter Pounder with Cheese and the Deluxe Quarter Pounder along with the Crispy Buttermilk Chicken sandwich. It excludes the Double Quarter Pounder with cheese in CA. Signature Crafted burgers are the new ones the you can customize with the grilled onions and bacon, etc. Basically the most expensive burgers on the menu and the newest burgers.
I just get grilled chicken breast without bun
If you don’t use it to scan, but pretend to make a mobile order it will list all the choices you can use this on. I like to use the $1 sandwich coupon for breakfast bagel sandwiches.
These also work on biscuits!

McDonalds made a change to this just two weeks after they started the promo. They are famous for this. They offer a great deal . . . get a lot of national attention from media (Today Show, Fox, Bloggers, etc) and then quietly retracts/changes the offer like they did with this one. It is NO LONGER ONCE A DAY, instead it is ONCE A WEEK. It resets every Monday. So you can get ONE sandwich for $1 during every Monday-Sunday time period. They did this the last time too. I wish someone actually held McDonalds accountable as it truly is bait and switch but they cover their tails by saying they can change the terms at any time for any reason.
Where I live it is still available for $1 per day.
I think once a week is perfect. Good god, no one needs to eat at mcdonalds everyday :0 i also get the buttermilk chicken sandwich! Great deal for $1!

* I agree the buttermilk crispy is the best one BUT we say NO MAYO and bring it home and add a “human amount” or mustard for hubby. They slather on a HUGE glob of mayo which is way too much! If we eat there (like on free fry Friday) we just scrape off the excess. *I’ve never thought about adding pickles….will try this next time, thanks!

Agree! Same happened to my app. The daily deal pulled me in more but now I really don’t even use it.
In Cincinnati Ohio, Lexington, KY and Atlanta, GA it is one sandwich per week for $1. It was one per day in the beginning but they switched it to one per week. Huge disappointment

I’ve had so many problems with this app. Every time I’ve tried to use it , I’ve ended up paying full price for the items! The workers at McDonald’s are no help and very rude about it. It’s all a scam.

Well calling it a scam ridiculous. They do have a lot of problems with it and the employees are not trained for problems. I hope they work out the bugs because we luv it. I especially luv being able to place a mobile order when the drive thru is slammed. I get my food usually before I see only 2 or 3 cars make it thru. Plus I can get a coffee or whatever when my Grandkids are sleeping.
Janet- if you have an Android phone, go into your settings, then click on apps, then clear your data and cache. Both mine and husbands apps started messing up and then finally saying “no deal in your location”! I called the 800# and an awesome McD’s CS lady told me this and it fixed it! I was so happy and shocked. If you have an apple phone (iPhone) the lady said to just delete and reload the app to fix it. Hope this helps you. I also have this $1 sandwich deal once per week now, yet agree it is enough since we were eating there way too much and gaining weight! :>)

Lately I have seen Free Drink with purchase of $1 or more on Tuesday and Thursday. I have taken advantage of this and get a $1 McChicken and a large drink for a total of $1.08 with tax. Just the right size quick lunch for me.
The deals vary by region and are driven by the local franchisee group. If the franchisee group is good, they will tend to go with the national promotions as the promotions were intended. In other markets, where some of the franchisees are, for lack of a better term, greedy, they will vary the promotion to be more favorable to the franchisee rather than the consumer. It is frustrating, but you need to talk to the restaurant owner. McDonald’s corporate is NOT responsible for this variation. It is NOT bait and switch. It is greedy restaurant owners who don’t want to do the promotion. That is why the advertising will say “Offers vary by market” or something to that effect.
I’ve created 7 different logins for the McDonald app since they went to $1 sandwich 1x a week. Just have to switch between the accounts after you use the coupon. Still getting my $1 sandwich daily, which is a really good deal..
My husband and I have our own too. That way we can go out to eat together, we just order separate. It’s worth the hassle of doing everything twice because McDonald’s food isn’t worth much more than a dollar. A lot of people are saying one a day is too much, but once a week isn’t much considering if you eat multiple meals a day. In the course of a week that’s 20 some meals which easily could be McDonald’s more than once.
Mine is still 1 per day, might be by the area you are in.
