Awesome, thanks! I was waiting on a deal on the vitamin c serum!
What is this Vitamin C serum for? Can it be used on scars, I’m trying to find something to use on my 6 yo daughter who got stitches on her forehead. Tried mederma at the recommendation of the pediatrician, but her skin is having a reaction to it with bumps everywhere. Looking for something more natural to use.
HipMomof3,
I was in a car accident last year and split my forehead open. Required 27 stitches. I used ScarGaurd twice a day for 6 months. I have olive skin and what started out as a drak purple scar is now almost unnoticeable. It’s not natural but it works.
Just looked at reviews on Ulta for product. Doesn’t look like this is an option for it. Any suggestions for other products?
Use Colloidal Silver
Is it actual scar tissue that’s raised, or a brownish mark that you’re trying to fade? For the latter you would be vigilant about sunscreen use everyday, use Vitamin C serum (try Paula’s Choice, not Mario Badescu), and a gentle exfoliant (ask a dermatologist what’s safe for kids).
I have a large scar on my face from going through a car windshield. I was also allergic to mederma. I used this cocoa butter stick, and it really helped. It comes in a yellow tube. Rolls up like a glue stick. Lasts a long time!

I believe vitamin E
It’s a new scar, not raised and not brown. The Mederma had sunscreen in it, but we can’t use it and to be honest we usually use Babyganic sunscreen so I’m not sure why I listened to the pediatrician anyway. Not sure what’s in the Mederma.
i would just use sunscreen and see a dermatologist. No idea how large the scar is and you want it to heal properly since it’s on her face.
Any reviews on the Vitamin C from Mario Badescu? I’m looking for a good vitamin C. TIA
This Vitamin C serum isn’t very effective…the concentration is too low, there’s no mention of what the pH is, and it doesn’t seem to have any stabilizers added. Overpriced and pretty much useless. You’re much better off buying The Ordinary’s Vitamin C instead.
are these mascaras any good?
Hi Ashley! The Tartiest lash paint mascara from Tarte is my absolute favorite mascara of all time. It really lengthens my lashes, doesn’t smudge, and is pretty water resistant (not waterproof). 🙂
Not really…I’ve tried both and wasn’t impressed. I like the Nars Climax mascara and the new Hourglass one as well.
