These are the best for anxiety and ADHD. All of our kids use them to watch movies in the basement. Plus it’s a good arm work out when I lift it to fold it!
I have one for my grandchild who has autism. It has been a life saver! It helps in stressful environments, car rides and even bedtime. I also read they work great with Alzheimer’s patients as well.

Has anyone ever tried these two bankers? If so, do the shells zip off for easy washing? There doesn’t seem to be much reviews on the Altamira blanket…
Ours isnt a “cover” like a shell. Its just a super thick heavy blanket. We usually wash the whole thing just by itself.

F.Y.I I have fibromyalgia and have noticed that heavy blankets help my pain level and getting better sleep. I’ve never bought a “weighted blanket” but have a very heavy one. I feel it can also help my anxiety.
Dear who ever this may concern: I went to Kohl’s to purchase a weighted blanket and they did not even have them even though they were advertises and I went on line and could not buy them Koh’s either. I had coupons that would give a good price as I live on a fixed income and only have so much. I have three grandchildren that have anxiety and other medical issues they are suppose to help. Why can I at least buy on line. thanks so much for your help.
