Mermaid Kids Bathroom on a Budget

Below are photos of my girls’ bathroom that was decorated on the cheap. My older daughter loves mermaids so I got the following deals to put this bathroom together on a budget:
1) Shower Curtain from Walmart.com
2) Wall Art: Mermaid 8×10 print was free from either CVS/WAGS (thanks to Hip2Save), frame is an old frame that got repainted, wall decals from Dollar Tree
3) Glass containers for cotton balls and cotton swabs from Dollar Tree
4) Toothbrush holder and soap dispenser are old ones that got repainted and decorated with washi tape
5) Seahorse cups from ALDI
6) Purple and pink wooden containers from Walmart Easter clearance
7) Stickers used to decorate glass containers, soap dispenser and toothbrush holder were a gift

Thanks. I can certainly understand the love for mermaids. I’m enjoying this phase my daughter is going through. I’m glad they make her happy. They are cute and fun.
Where did you find the mermaid picture to print?
I searched for it online. I saved it to my computer. Then when a free 8×10 promo came back around, I ordered a free print.

Thanks. It’s still a work in progress. Not shown are these new storage cubbies I unexpectedly found at Ross. They are beautiful; one has a mermaid scales design on it.
Super cute !! My favorite part is the memories and mom/daughter time involved. My mom and i remodeled my bedroom when i was 12. There were endless eye rolls and huffs and puffs (all on my part) but looking back it was nice to spend time with my mom. You might have saved money on the bathroom remodel but u struck gold in ur daughters eyes. Looks great !!

Thanks. It was intimidating to get started with switching the decor cause I’m not good with home design. But little by little it came together.
This is SO cute! You did a really great job! My daughter loves the water so we did an ocean theme for her bathroom. I found a cute blue and white shower curtain and rug on clearance at Target. Kohl’s had sea decor on clearance so I got 3 starfish and a mermaid picture for $8 and sea shell curtain hangers. We also found a 2 pack of tiny canvases and did a footprint to make a fish, and handprints to make a crab. I did splurge on a giant wooden whale at hobby lobby for $20, but used my cameo to have the words “splish splash” swirling out of the blow hole.
