I’ve wanted to purchase a weighted blanket but this says spot clean. I don’t know, I feel like a blanket needs washing. I also have pets. Anyone have any experiences with these?

I have terrible anxiety- but a component of it is claustrophobia- does anyone have experience with these who also have issues feeling trapped?
No, but Target has a great return policy. I feel claustrophobic if I have my entire body under the same amount of blankets, so I have to keep one arm out from under everything but the top blanket, if that makes sense. In the summer, when I only have one blanket on the bed, I use a throw to keep my top arm warm. I’ve been freeing my arm from being trapped since I was a baby that hated to be swaddled. The top blanket trick came about because I’m also always cold.

Most weighted blankets can be washed in your machine and dried on low. This one doesn’t look any different than other ones.

Thanks for the heads up on this! I was just looking at these. I’m a pediatric nurse and I’ve taken care of a number of autistic kids who use these to decrease their anxiety. I don’t have anxiety but I like a lot of blankets and I think it’s the weight I like.
