Hi Ashley, if you (or anyone else who got this offer) aren’t planning to use it would you mind to share? We are headed there this weekend for a 2 night stay and that would be so helpful! My email is hilarystatum@gmail.com .

      Thank you so much!

I got the email too, but it looks like you have to book the room with the promo code in order to take advantage of the deal. Rooms must be original price.

This is not a deal. You can get a much better deal by signing up for their offers directly OR even calling them they will give you a better deal if you mention Groupon. For instance, I called Wisconsin Dells location and got 2 nights for just 117.12 each – far less than Groupon and the dates fell within the same window as the dates on Groupon. I am not sure why Hip2Save keeps posting Groupon travel ‘deals’, they hike the fees so much as a third party, it’s actually costing people more. I’ve even gotten better rates right off the hotel website in several cases. PLEASE do your research before you buy anything travel related on Groupon, I don’t want any of you to pay more than you have to.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback, J. Homan. We really value your thoughts on this and will for sure keep this in mind on future travel deals.

What do you have to tell them when you call? Like, can i get a better deal than what Groupon is offering? How v do you word it?

I’ve been looking for about a week now & signed up for emails. (this would be our 1st ever visit) There was a 2 day sale, with a 50% off code, but there was also a 40 or 50% off code on retail me not too. Though, the email said “starting at $65”, but when I looked at the cheapest room, it was about $120…?? So, not sure how it gets so cheap – or the $99/night deals that I’ve only heard about.
I just saw this Groupon post today & it’s about $60 less than the website currently – with another deal going on. Seems like there’s ALWAYS some deal going on – reminds me of Kohl’s LOL!
I can also get gift card deals and cash back offers by going through Groupon 1st, so that would save even more. This is a LOT of “research” to find the best deal! LOL

I had a GWL voucher gifted to me. Does anyone know if I can use that w the Groupon offer?

  5. Frecklelily

We just spent 5 days at the GWL in LaGrange, GA. There are NO microwaves in the room. Each hotel floor has one microwave to share. You MAY NOT bring any electric cooking devices. Not even an electric kettle. Doing so (as stated in their policy) can get you kicked off the premises.

IMO, it’s definitely worth buying the Wolf Pass, but only the children need it. I don’t think they explain this pass very well so I didn’t buy it before arriving. If there is an activity that your child doesn’t want to do, our GWL had no problem allowing her to substitute it for a different activity.

Food is VERY expensive! We made a Walmart run and bought TV dinners, lunch meat, and snacks. Refrigerators are in each room. We just had to go down the hall and use the one and only microwave.

Highly recommend the Wisconsin Dells GWL! We stayed over the summer and it was amazing! 3 rooms of water park and an outdoor water park. We will definitely go back next time we are in Wisconsin.

Please correct me if I am wrong but aren’t all these prices per night that are listed above PER Person PER Night? So $99 per night in reality is $500 per night for my family of 5. And we were hoping to do 2 nights and it doesn’t include the passes for the kids either! We could spend a little more go on a 5-7 day cruise. So bummed. I thought we could do a quick getaway before school ends.

    • Brianne

The prices listed are ‘Per Night’ it’s not ‘Per Person- Per Night’. When my family (of 4) has stayed at the Washington State GWL we have not had to pay extra for water park passes. I believe you get 4 passes per day with each room. So we paid for just the price of the room each night and Water Park passes are included. Hope that helps. My family has always had a lot of fun!

      • kanick

Hmm. I wonder if some locations are different. We want to go to the Grapevine, TX one and when I enter all our info online and use the different promo codes, it comes between $600-$800 and that’s on the low end.

Can you add on a Paw Pass with Groupon? (& would you add it straight through the lodge?)
How would you go about the ‘late check-out’ option?
Or can you not get any of these ‘options’ going through Groupon?

  9. Shawn

For the date I want, it would be $519 for one night. They claim that’s $200 off. 😳
