As Seen on TV Building-Block Tape Only $1 at Dollar Tree (Compatible w/ LEGOs & More)
Build LEGOS on any surface!
Next time you are at Dollar Tree, keep your eyes peeled for this As Seen on TV Build Bonanza Building-Block Tape selling for only $1! This item is available in select stores only.
This 12-foot building tape works with LEGO & Mega Blocks and turns any surface into a base for building blocks! It is bendable, shapeable and flexible and can be cut to size.
Just peel, stick and build around furniture, curve up walls, connect to windows and more plus it is reusable so you can create different designs over & over again!
(Thanks, Carrie!)
We have this and it does not stick to the walls. We ended up using tacks to keep it up.
Oh darn! Thanks for sharing your experience! I haven’t spotted these yet at my store to try them out!
I bought this at Walmart when it was on clearance, my son had been wanting to try it. Total let down! He tried the tape on several surfaces and it just didn’t want to stick to anything.
Oh bummer! That does sound disappointing! Thanks so much for the honest comment!
Darn, I’ve been looking for them at my local DT’s. I saw them at Kroger on clearance for like 5.99 and passed. So I was excited when I saw on YouTube channel PrettynFlawed they had them at DT. Bummer😬
I tried these on clearance as well and had similar experiences to the others. Didn’t stick well and actually took paint off my end table.
I found these a couple weeks ago at my dollar tree. I bought a bunch to cover the top of a surface. Did not stick… Just peeled up in areas and trying to line them up proved to be hard as some didn’t seem to perfectly spaced to put side by side each other. I wish I would have read Amazon reviews first. I wish they would have worked out! I would have glued them to the surface if they worked good otherwise. Waste of money but glad it was inexpensive at dollar tree
I bought these last year (NOT for a dollar 🙁 ) and I agree that they don’t stick well…we added our crafting double sided tape and it worked great. However, I just saw these at the DS and bought a couple of packs for our lego room projects – to frame bulletin board and pictures hanging on wall, to wrap around lego-building table, frame light switch plate, etc. I will be gluing it in place, but easier to cut than lego baseplates (and WAAAY less expensive!) and it won’t be attached to anything permanent (like the wall or a door) so it’ll be easy when we want to change it out. Also, my boys like to use it (as-is without using the sticky back) as a wobbly bridge, or like a rope hanging from things (EVERYTHING LOL).
Oh wow! I love those ideas, M! Thanks so much for sharing the different ways you can make use of this tape! SO cool!
Those are great ideas! Maybe my clearance buy won’t go to waste after all!
We bought these. Put on shelves and were great. Just recently my son put it on the wall and it took a huge chunk of paint off the wall.
I bought these on Amazon last year for $20 and was incredibly disappointed as the previously posters were. I will be on the look out at our local Dollar Tree as I LOVE the idea posted above to use for trim on bulletin boards or frames for decorating. Great idea!
