Sesame Street is Taking a 10-City Road Trip This Summer and Offering Free, Family Festivals
Sesame Street is hitting the road!
To celebrate 50 years of helping kids grow smarter, stronger, and kinder, Sesame Street is taking its first-ever nationwide road trip and hosting free, family festivals in participating cities this summer!
Each interactive family festival will include shows, giant mazes, treasure digs, photo opportunities, snack stations, and more – plus chances to win a Caribbean family vacation from Beaches Resorts! 🏖
While in each city, Sesame Street’s production crew will also be filming a new segment that will capture what kids love about their communities. The footage will be part of Sesame Street’s 50th season, premiering in November 2019 on HBO. Check out the Sesame Street Anniversary site or their press release for more details.

I just reserved some for Kansas City, MO! Thank you. This looks so fun!
It sure does! You’re very welcome, MidMoGal! Have a great time!
How do you download and print tickets
Hi Shay! It looks like you won’t need to bring them, just be sure to register. It is first come, first served. Once you complete the registration, you should see a button to click on that says “go to my tickets”. There you will see your registration information. They will also send you your reservation code via email. Hope that helps!
Didn’t send reservation code
Hmm, I received mine almost immediately. Maybe check your spam, junk or promotions folders. Hope that helps!
We are so excited!!!
Thank you so much for sharing this information! My kiddos are going to be so excited!!
Yay! You’re so welcome, Jess! Hope they have a wonderful time!
If you have to register but it’s first come first serve, are you guaranteed to get in?! This would be fun but it’s pretty far away. I’d hate to make the drive and be turned away with disappointed kids!
I would like to know this as well!
This is what i’m questioning as well.
Thanks for sharing! My kids will totally enjoy this event…just waiting for CA registration to open! 🙂
Hopefully it will open up soon! 😀
Yay!!!!! This momma loves FREE events! See you in Chicago!!!!
You’re so welcome! Enjoy!
I’m enrolling for Dallas and can’t complete it (it stuck on continue button) 😞
Nvm I tried it from safari and it work
Yay! Glad you got it to work! 🙂
Did you get an email after making reservations? I made reservations for Dallas, but did not get an email
Yep, I got an email after registering.
Reserved for Detroit! – Thank you!
You’re welcome, Christine!
Yeah I’m missing something. Why register if you dont need tickets to prove who you are? Sounds like a free for all? Help me understand the logistics here.
They will probably have a list of people’s name/address or whatever information they are asking for and ask for ID? Seems like that’s what they might be doing in order to avoid having to print tickets (creating unnecessary paper waste.
Thanks so much! My daughters will love this!
Aww, good! You’re welcome, Katie! Hope they have a wonderful time!
I grow up with Sesame St.
