Just waiting for others complain that its too expensive…
Guess i’ll be the first…this place us a total rip off. These “discounts” are laughable.
As a family of six (including two kids who we are adopting from foster care who have never had the opportunity to do anything like this) this actually isn’t any more expensive than a regular hotel and six water park passes would be…and honestly we love the fact that it’s all self-contained. The up-front price does seem steep but we watch for off season deals and take advantage of those (last year we went in February for super cheap). Even when we just had two kids it was well worth the expense in our opinion.
But its not a hotel with a swimming pool… its a resort!!!… if its expensive for u… stay at a hotel with a pool instead
I guess PokPok is the district manager of a Great Lodge, she seems so offended by my comments.
Thanks! I was just looking up their deals for Great Wolfe before you reminded me to look for a code!
You’re welcome, Stef!
Just went there last month (Poconos location). Definitely expensive, but my 2 year old loved it. Possibly the best vacation I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back!
Oh wait, was that code only for one day?!!!
Hmm, We still find the code to apply today. Maybe try again in a different browser. Hoping that helps!
My kids STILL talk about our stay at the Great Wolf last year and have been begging to go back! We only stayed there one night, but they had SO much fun and made great memories. Totally worth the price to have everything right there. Park when you get there and don’t have to go back to the parking lot until it’s time to go home!
How neat! SO glad to hear what fun memories you have of your stay! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment!
Kalahari is way better though..imo
The Groupon deal was not the best deal for me. I originally purchased it and it was $183. Then I checked my emails for the confirmation and saw an email from Great Wolf Lodge. It was a mystery savings coupon code and I got 50% off. I requested the Groupon be cancelled and I was refunded the money for that. Went to the Great Wolf Lodge’s website and purchased the exact same night, same room and it was $131. So I saved a little over $50 by going direct. Thanks for the deals but sometimes it pays to check to see what deals they are offering directly.
Would you mind please sharing that 50 percent code, Jennifer? I only got 20 and my kids want to go before they have to go back to school so bad. Thank you!!
Did you get the 50%?
No, Mel, I did not, but if anyone has an extra code my kids and I would greatly appreciate it!!
I also got the 20 🙁 could you share the 50% off please?
HI, I heard that there are additional fees we should keep in mind such as an additional resort fee and parking, is this true? How much is the parking fee?
That’s correct. Taxes and resort fees will be added. Those can vary by location. Hope that helps!
We did that once but prefer “YMCA Family Camp” which is a DEAL. all inclusive – meals, activities (water ski, fish, ride horses, zip lines), and can be small groups or large reunions.
