Do these lids fit tightly? Like to pack in a lunch bag with out leaking or falling off?
That’s what I’m wondering! I’m trying to eliminate all plastic from my kitchen, so these would be a great swap for my plastic lids, but I want to make sure my lunch doesn’t end up everywhere!
I would think odors would absorb into the wood lids. Any thoughts?
Yes and how do you clean them properly? I doubt you can put them in the dishwasher.
The wood lids are hand wash only. The glass bowls are dishwasher safe. Hope this helps, Emily Gilmore!
The wood lids have a silicone gasket to fit better and keep it tight. The lids are made from acacia wood which is used on plates and platters. I don’t know that it would absorb odors and many other kitchen items are made from it and don’t seem to cause problems.
These storage containers just keep getting fancier and fancier…..and I love it!!
