This vacuum works on all my floors, and cleans better than my previous vacuum (Dyson). I have a family and two long hairs cats who shed everywhere and their cat litter gets tracked out onto the floors. I used to vacuum every week to clean my house, but now i can just take out the wand and put the carpet accessory on the end and clean out all of the hair, fur, dust, litter, and other stuff from the carpet like nothing was ever there. This Hoover replaced a 7-year-old Hoover Windtunnel 2. World of difference! No lose of suction when using the attachments and unlike many vacuums, you can turn off the beater brush. The carpet or hard floor auto-sensor is really nice, although it occasionally is fooled by a very dense wool rug we have; it thinks it’s hard floor. The flexible head works great once the wrist gets the hang of it.

I just bought and retuned this in the past week. I have two dogs and it did not cut it at all. It took me twice as long as my old shark so that’s what I got again. Worked fine on all the areas the dogs don’t go but definitely not in their favorite hangout spots
