New Disney World Mid-Day Magic Tickets as Low as $74 Per Day
Who says you can’t save at Disney World?
If you are planning a trip to Disney World before December 15th, then you may want to consider this new, cheaper Mid-Day Magic Ticket option! Prices start at just $74/day for visitors ages 10 and up, and $71/day for kids ages 3 – 9.
The new Mid-Day Magic ticket gives you access to one theme park starting at noon (instead of 9AM) until close each day. This gives you time to sleep longer and enjoy a leisurely breakfast/brunch – or even a character meal! And, if you want to hit those fireworks at night, you won’t be as exhausted.
You can choose from 2-, 3- and 4-Day Passes to be used before December 15th at one of the following parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom. Plus you can add the Park Hopper option to these tickets, as well.
Tickets are not valid for admission to morning Extra Magic Hours. Disney FastPass+ selections before 12:00 PM will not be valid with this ticket, and these tickets are not valid for admission to morning Extra Magic Hours.

Strange so kids under the limit can’t get a ticket?? That’s like the majority of families have younger kids
Hi there! Kiddos and adults of all ages can take advantage of this deal, Tiffany! 🙂 Kids ages 3 – 9 can score a ticket for just a few dollars less than tickets for those ages 10 and up. And little ones under the age of 3 don’t need a ticket at all. I updated the post to be more clear. Hope that helps! 🙂
Walt would just be sick over the prices of Disney! For us poor folk (46K/yr family of 5) it is truly a once in a lifetime trip! We had to save & sell anything we cld on Craigslist (tax free $ btw) & still 2 days of disney + staying in an air b&b & one kid was free, it was TIGHT!! Breaks my heart for other kids that won’t ever get that experience.
My option is in the minority but always find Disney one of the most affordable vacations. I don’t stay on property but at Orlando area hotels, I pay anywhere from 70-90$/night. In NYC I paid $250/night. I eat breakfast at the hotel, bring snack for lunch and only eat Dinner at the park and I don’t eat at the sit down restaurants only fast service. The more days you go it’s cheaper too. For around 100 day (less if you get more days) you get quality entertainment and rides. Versus at state fair for a day, you pay a small entry fee (maybe $10), and all day ride bracelets are now $40-50 plus any carnival games/entertainment can be around $20 for 2-3 games. I’d rather pay $20 more and go to Disney/Universal. There are ways to make Disney crazy expensive but there are ways to make it affordable too.
I think destination vacations are an infrequent event that requires purposefully setting aside money for a lot of families.
Disney is expensive and very profitable but when you consider the amount of activities, quality of upkeep, special events and level of service it doesn’t seem completely unreasonable, especially compared to the price of tickets to concerts, sporting events and shows.
We live near Disney so we’ve been there plenty of times but my daughter has never seen snow. We’re saving up right now for airfare, hotel/AirBNB to go build a snowman. 🙂 Assuming your kids live somewhere snowy you can tell them a kid that lives 20 minutes from Disney is jealous of them!
Wish they offered special for 1 day ticket but thx for the heads up.
I agree. A one day ticket would be great. I don’t want to pay so much extra for a hotel to stay an extra day when I only live a few hours away.
Thanks for your comment. I started reading the heading and the terms and got excited and missed that there’s a 2 day minimum. My fault for not reading carefully but it would also be nice if the post title was clearer. If it was really $74/day and available for a single day it would have been a great special occasion event for my daughter. We live 20 from Disney and it’d be funto see some of the features they’ve added aince our passes expired a few years ago.
Thank you for this
You’re so welcome!
The discount is only if you go for 4 days? How much is it for just 1 day?
Hi Rose! It appears these are for 2, 3 and 4 day passes. Hope that helps!
If anyone is a travel agent for disney could you email me. We are taking our very first trip in dec. Harnish1102@yahoo.com
Ashley, I highly recommend Dreams Unlimited Travel. It’s who I use. Also, look up a December planning group on Facebook and join in.
So if I am reading this right the discount would apply to Spooky Halloween and give you the opportunity to be in the park from noon to close? Anyone ever done this?
If you’re referring to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party, that is a separate event.
So it would be the discount price for a couple hours then the Not So Spooky price on top of it? Hmmm. That’s not much of a deal
This is a pretty good deal but one should keep in mine that Magic Kingdom closes early (about 6pm) during the months of October – December for the nightly Halloween/Christmas parties (not included in regular admission). As long as you get there at noon with this ticket you would have 6 hrs.
I for to mention that my comment does not apply to Epcot, Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom. Those parks don’t close for special events so you can expect to stay longer (usually between 8pm – 11pm) depending on the park and which day of the week. 🙂
