New kitchens mean lots of important decisions! Your sink faucet is just as important as cabinets and countertops because it needs to be able to stand up to kitchen messes, be durable, and work efficiently. Read on for the best and very highly-rated kitchen sink faucets that we love (and one that we don’t love)!

Check out our top picks for the BEST kitchen faucets:

1. Kraus KPF-1612 Single Lever Kitchen Faucet

chrome spring faucet with white tile backsplash white cabinets and gray countertops

Buy it on Amazon$116+

Here’s why we love it:

  • Heavy duty commercial style design
  • Great swivel design for total sink access
  • A 3-function sprayer helps save on water
  • Magnetic latching system
  • Rubber nozzles are easy to clean and prevent hard water build up
  • 4 beautiful finishes that are corrosion- and rust-resistant
  • Limited lifetime warranty

“I did a ton of research and eventually landed on this faucet based on reviews, price, and awesome features. I installed it myself a few months back (easy DIY project & instructions are easy to follow). My whole family has been loving it. The hands-free hot/cold lever and sprayer work perfectly in our busy kitchen.

As mentioned by some reviewers, the water flow was a little low for our needs, so a quick email to customer service and they sent a high-flow attachment at no cost! The higher flow is still stingy enough to save on that water bill and looks great in my kitchen!”

  • 2 spray modes available in the spray head
  • The simple design is great for any custom countertops
  • Option to have a motion sensor

“Our builder put this faucet in our house when we built it, and for the past 3.5 years, it has worked seamlessly! Knock-on-wood, we’ve never had any issues. My favorite feature (that I totally don’t think I could live without) is the retractable spray head. I can easily fill up large pans that don’t fit in my sink and fill up my large watering can when my houseplants need a drink. I would recommend this affordable faucet to anyone!”

Tracey ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

3. Delta Leland 9178-AR-DST Single-Handle Kitchen Faucet

  • 1- or 3-hole installation option
  • 360-degree swivel
  • 3-function spray wand
  • SheildSpray technology offers powerful cleaning without the mess
  • Delta MagnaTite Docking holds spray head in the perfect position
  • Diamond Seal technology offers easy to install and last longer
  • Rubber touch-clean spray holes

“I was in the market for a new faucet, and my plumber recommended this one for the quality and guarantee. I purchased it a few months back, and it feels sturdy, moves easily between hot and cold (+ all temperatures in between), and swivels easily. The pull-down sprayer is easy to pull and retracts just as easily and has never got caught. I like having a high arc spout and 360 degrees swivel, which my old faucet didn’t have. I’m so glad I purchased this faucet. I have only great things to say about it!”

Nancy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

4. KOHLER K-R10651-SD-VS Sous Pro-Style Kitchen Faucet

stainless steel kitchen faucets on store shelves in a row

Buy it at The Home Depot$259

Here’s why we love it:

  • ProMotion technology allows for effortless spray head control
  • Magnet docking arm to keep spray head in place
  • Sweep spray feature forcefully cleans and simplifies cleanup
  • Scratch shield technology ensures durability during heavy usage
  • Heavy duty ceramic disc valves

“I have been using this faucet for a few months now, and I simply love it! The installation was a breeze compared to some units I have put in before. It has a great range of motion. The resting height is great for filling and cleaning large pots, and the beautiful industrial restaurant look is really appealing to me.

It has been easy to keep clean. I have not had any sediment build up start to take any of the pressure away yet. This is the best faucet I have used to date. Not having to deal with the pull-out hose and weight ball anymore has been surprisingly pleasant as well!”

Here is the kitchen faucet Collin owns and is surprisingly NOT recommending…

1. Moen 7565EC High Arc MotionSense Kitchen Faucet

Buy it on Amazon$450+

Reasons not to love it:

  • The MotionSense is extremely touchy
  • Reaching to grab anything near the sink will turn the water on
  • Motion sensor stops working unexpectedly for many customers
  • Wastes water when you’re not even near it since it can turn on unexpectedly
  • Lightweight and feels cheaply constructed
  • Higher in price then many other similar kitchen faucets

What happens when colling reached for sponge with motion sense faucet

“I’m seriously wondering if I’m just not the “norm” when it comes to these MotionSense faucets because the reviews aren’t as bad as I thought they’d be.

Here’s why I quickly fell out of love with this faucet – whenever I go to grab a sponge or the dish soap from my sink, the faucet will turn on and soak whatever shirt I’m wearing. I get that it’s due to the motion sensor but I find it annoying that I can’t grab items to wash my dishes without getting wet (unless I remember about the motion sense and grab my items in an awkward way – but that rarely happens!).

In addition, the water will turn on unexpectedly – when we’re not even near the sink if it senses something as little as a speck of dust.

I just think this faucet is a waste of money and water… and honestly would never opt to buy a faucet with a motion sense feature again. I personally would rather just turn the faucet on myself and have more control over when the water comes out.”
