Just got back with my cold brew. Went to the drive thru and the guy scanned the barcode off my phone and said thanks and I drove off. Always wanted to try Nitro Cold brew to see what all the hype is about. It’s just cold coffee. Don’t hate it, but don’t love it either. Thank you for the free coupon notice. I would have loved to try one of the flavors but figured I’d better not press my luck and got what the coupon stated only.

Coupon didn’t work at mine in NC. They looked at me as though I was crazy trying to use it. They even tried typing in numbers under bar code.
I’m in NC and wasn’t able to use it either. 😭
That is not good. I would complain to Starbucks . I plan to use mine tomorrow .
They are really good about giving you a reward, points or cash back. I had a barista scan a gift card instead of adding to my account, same with cash, which cost me hundreds of stars for not completing multiple offers. They will fix it. They respond within 24 hours. Sometimes you have to explain, like they thought I wanted stars for buying a gift card, but the issue was they paid with a new gift card instead of adding it to my registered card. The credits appear they next day. They may not be able to generate a coupon, but would probably give you a reward to redeem.
I was able to get this just now. Is it possible they allowed more than 50k coupons but are out of redemptions? I’m in CA, planning to go tomorrow. Will let you know whether it works.

Well you should be up for hours after 2 pm. It is barely noon. Hee hee. My friend is actually the same, coffee at the top of the morning or no go. I personally do not like Nitro, too beer tasting for me, so I paid it forward to the car behind me. They got a freebie, hoping they like it.

I got one! Thanks! It says it’s good until September 3rd. Quick question for anyone that’s tried it. A friend introduced me to classic syrup calling her iced coffee classic and cream. It was pretty good. So the question is, can I sweeten this up? I’m not a coffee alone kind of person.

And 2 pumps of vanilla syrup- I had to add some vanilla creamer at home so def needs more syrup and/or cream

Companies should really make their coupons easier to use. Why is it your legitimate Starbucks coupon isn’t working automatically.? It should be standard for a coupon to actually work instead of “having issues.” It makes no sense to me as it is now.
Los Angeles starbucks would not honor it since it wouldn’t scan. 🙁

I don’t believe it’s a scam- the employees at the one I went to hadn’t seen or known about it but they tried one of two ways- the first way worked just fine. I’ve had them be just as surprised with coupons from the Starbucks games before. I think they just aren’t made aware when they offer these promotions (which they definitely should be)
I tried to use the coupon at my local Starbucks but was told their nitro cold brew machine is “broken,” but I could purchase a regular cold brew……Based on the comments here, Starbucks seems to be a bit shady with this promo offer. If a company offers a promo coupon, I expect them to actually honor it in stores or provide an equivalent.

Worked on the first scan for me (Glendale AZ). The barista was really nice and even put pumpkin foam on it. The coffee is very strong so it’s in the fridge for tomorrow.
Got the it with sweet cream yesterday. I tasted no difference with the sweet cream vs the regular, so not sure what the “sweet” is 😂 added a bit of sugar. Put it in the fridge last night for today. Barista had no issues scanning nor did she give me any issues 🤗
Just got mine with pumpkin cream it is yummy.the normal flavor is gross though. It didnt work they scanned it twice but they then put in the number and it either worked or they just gave it to me lol.
Went to one in NY, coupon wasn’t valid when scanned and they said hadn’t had heard about offer
I tried to use mine in Fort Worth, TX. The barista really tried multiple ways and said it wouldn’t scan and that it was probably a hoax. She asked me where I got it and I showed her the website and link. She was nice and gave me the drink complementary anyway.
I have tried 3 times to use my coupon, but every store is out of cold brew before 2:00
I went today and was told it was invalid. I had to pay the full price. And it wasn’t even good 😩😩😩
It was def a starbucks approved promotion & baristas were aware of it. My whole family received theirs, all our codes were different. Only problem, at 1st codes wouldnt scan then they realized they have to use the nitro button instead of ice coffee button. How do you find the barcode after you did the offer which I did right away? I took a screenshot of it but it did not work at the Starbucks but they honored it anyway. The barista even tried entering the 30 digit number located below the barcode but that did not work either this was in Santa Monica California
When I tried it they said it was not valid so they wouldn’t accept it that sucks
Went to 3 different locations, in all 3 said, “coupon not found” the manager said that only coupons that Starbucks has is only through Starbucks account (their app). disappointed…..
Update: I contacted Starbucks today about this issue of the bar code not scanning. The representative actually was able to see that they sent me the coupon. So you might want to contact Starbucks if your coupon did not work.
