“It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” Will Be Airing Twice This Year on ABC
This Halloween classic is back for 2019 and will air twice on ABC! 🎃
You’ll have two chances to see “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” on ABC this month, so gather the kids, pop some corn, and settle in for some family-friendly screen time! If you’ve somehow never managed to see this Halloween classic since it first premiered back in 1966, here’s how ABC describes it:
In Charles M. Schulz’s classic animated Halloween-themed PEANUTS special, the PEANUTS gang celebrates Halloween with Linus hoping that, finally, he will be visited by The Great Pumpkin, while Charlie Brown is invited to a Halloween party.
The first airing of “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” will take place on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, with an encore presentation on Sunday, October 27, 2019. Check your local listings for showtimes in your area, as they will vary by time zone.
Can’t wait until October 22nd for your first 2019 screening of this Halloween classic?
It’s currently available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video, along with the bonus episodes “It’s Magic, Charlie Brown” and “Lucy Must Be Traded, Charlie Brown.” You can also grab it from Amazon on Blu-Ray or DVD!
Cool, I just bought my son the book from target and he loved it! Can’t wait to watch.
Thanks for the reminder! This is a must see for my family on regular programming. We pop popcorn and make it a family event…so fun!
Enjoy the time with the family, Jennifer!
Thank you so much for sharing this! We don’t have cable, just an antenna, so we never know what’s on when. I appreciate it!
It’s our pleasure, beth!
As an adult I love charlie brown Lol 🙂 I will definitely be tuning in. My favorite show is the thanksgiving one. Thanks for posting!
We are so glad you can take advantage of this!
For as long as I can remember the Charlie Brown Specials always air twice. Once during that week followed by an encore that weekend, which is why I don’t freak out when I miss the first airing. And sometimes I’ll watch both! 🙂
