Check out this review from a Hip2Save Sidekick:
“I recently signed up for Stitch Fix and love it! That said, be sure to send them your Pinterest link and be VERY detailed with things you like or don’t like. I recently received a pair of jeans that fit amazing! Note that Stitch Fix may not be a good fit for everyone.”

Fair Trade Friday is my favorite! They have a few different clubs to choose from. I get the original box and love the items, I save some for myself and give others as gifts.

I’ve never tried Birchbox, but I liked Ipsy when I had it. Is Birchbox better?
I’ve had both. They really go back and forth on which is better over the years. Fun to switch over now and then though.
Birchbox gives you One GUARANTEED full size sample. Ipsy gives you the make up bag. I love them both!
Jennie, I’m subscribed to both Ipsy and Birchbox and I don’t get a full sized product monthly with my other items? Hmmmm….
I have had both. I think Ipsy is better. Ipsy sample sizes are usually bigger than Birchbox. Also I more into make-up which Ipsy does more off. Birchbox has more skin care and hair items.
I would say that Birchbox will give you more higher-priced products, with a lot more hair and skin care stuff, whereas Ipsy is more lower-priced stuff that you can often find at drugstores. Ipsy will also give you tools like brushes or eyelash curlers more often than Birchbox, and you’ll get a lot more color makeup, often in “younger” shades and finishes, like sparkly stuff.
Both are good, and you can get variations if you jigger with your preferences in your profile.
I do not like Birchbox over ipsy. Ipsy has much nicer products and sizes.
For the music fan, VNYL ships 1 or 3 curated vinyl records based off of the user’s account preferences and Spotify history each month. Regular price is $39/mo but it is cheaper with a longer subscription and there are currently deals for about half off. I pay $19.99 each month for 3 brand new records shipped to my door that would typically cost about that much for one…feels like Christmas every month!
Also, if anyone is interested in signing up, send me your email address and we’ll each get a $10 credit! 🙂
Oh wow – good to know! Thanks!
question- are these vintage albums or new?
Thanks!
Boxy charm should have been on there for the make up lover!!!
I agree. Love boxycharm!!
BoxyCharm is the best cosmetic box that I’ve tried. I’ve had Macys, Sephora, Target, Birchbox, Ipsy and the only one I’ve continued with is Boxy. Loot Crate has also gone really down hill the last couple years. I finally quit my regular Loot Crate and the Hello Kitty Crate after being disappointed too many times.
Boxycharm? Never heard of them…thanks! I’ll take a peek at their site.
Glad to hear you like them! 🙂 We do have it listed under the Birchbox section as other ideas – but sounds like it is a great subscription box!
Do you have a referral link?
Nik email me and I’ll give you my link.

I purchased my sister an annual subscription to CauseBox for her birthday and it is absolutely amazing. Everything is socially conscious, fair-trade, ethically made, etc. Just a great selection of beautiful, thoughtful products. You can also customize some of the options (if you do the annual) – like the Winter box has 3 different poncho wrap color options (worth $115) and either a necklace or earrings. There’s even $100 ear buds this time! It’s a quarterly box, $49.99 each but if I remember correctly, there is a discount for purchasing an annual subscription. Highly recommend it!
Wow good to know! Thanks for the recommendation!
There’s also tons of coffee subscriptions. We got my father in law one last year for 6 months and he loved it. They came from a different country each month
I can’t say enough about how awesome the Kiwi Company Crates are! We did the Tadpole Crate for a year (they actually only have a newborn version and then 12 kits for 2-3 yo) until my son got all and they moved him to Koala (he’s 3 now). They often have sales on kits w/ free shipping for members, so we’ve stocked up on other things that I know he’ll enjoy once he’s a bit older (and they said they make sure not to send kits he already has).
Lavish box for the bath lover
Boxycharm is hands down the best beauty box – all full size , mostly high end products. $21/month but always well over $100 value
I cancelled both Birchbox and Ipsy
I can highly recommend BarkBox for your furbabies! We love it. There are two well-made chew toys, two bags of treats, and one other food item like a beef stick or pig ear in every box. We get the one for tough chewers and my lab has yet to rip one of them up like she does with other toys. The treats are grain free and no allergens. It’s the only box we receive every month. My Bella even knows the words “Bark Box” and will jump around and bark until we get it open.
I agree the Heavy Chewer boxes are great for our 60 lb pitbull baby dog. And Dollar Shave club is great! No running out last minute, and I use the blades, too. Better than any women’s blade.
I go through the Animal Rescue site and get their Rescue Box, same as BarkBox, but each box shipped helps feed and vaccinate animals. Its like Christmas every month at our house for the critters 🙂

I tried to sign up and didn’t see the option for the heavy chewers box. My boy is a 125# Shiloh Shepherd,do you think he would get toys that he could use or are they small?
If you know anyone who likes to sew or quilt, a Cotton Cuts subscription would be perfect!
https://www.cottoncuts.com/
They have monthly boxes of fabric. You can pick your preferences too! They also have a Puzzle Mystery Quilt that is monthly. Each month for 9 months, you get a clue to put together. On the 10th month, you get the final clue and the instructions on how to put all of the pieces together to finish it. It’s really fun!
I love shopping Cotton Cuts’ scrap store – I bought 4 lbs of scraps from the puzzle mystery quilts last month for less than $20-all just extra pieces they had cut I guess, plus some end of bolt pieces! You should also look into QuiltyBox & Culcita.
CatLadyBox for Cat lovers is great too!! Gifts for yourself and your feline friend
I have been LOVING my FabFitFun boxes!
Here is a new one we barely signed up for today… Bondingbees.com, it’s a date subscription box. It arrives and has fun things for you to connect with your spouse.
Thanks for sharing! I just ordered as a Christmas gift for my sister & her husband
Got my impossible to buy for teenagers a Tokyo Treat Box subscription. Shipped from Japan and they love them! Really ideal for my college kiddo. Care package every month with all kinds of fun weird snacks from Japan. We get the deluxe with the drink. $39.99 mo. Always a fun day with roommates and friends!
If you specifically enjoy Young Adult books OwlCrate is an amazing subscription box. They jam pack each box with the coolest items and the books are almost always hand signed by the author with dust covers exclusive to OwlCrate. They even have a box for kids too. Was never disappointed.
Dang, I want to sign up for all of these…
The Mighty Fix through mightynest.com is my favorite and sends eco-friendly and health conscious items for the kitchen, home, or personal care. It is only $10/month or $99/year including shipping and item(s) are always worth at least $10. “Fixes” have included wool dryer balls, several plastic-free reusable kitchen items, a non-toxic cleaner that works great, and a petroleum-free healing balm.
I just signed up for barkbox. This month you get double in your box for free if you purchase the 6month or 12 month. Also if you pay for the entire subscription at once, you save an extra 5% .
And 11% back from Ebates!!!!
vegancuts.com has a few different subscription boxes. I get get the monthly beauty box and vegan snacks! Love them both!!
I love Allure for mid to high end beauty samples. It s $10 a month for the first month, then $15 after. I always love everything in each box and I love trying all the new beauty products.
Sorry, Actually, for a limited time you can get your first box for $7.50!
Causebox is my all time favorite subscription box. I’ve received 3 of their quarterly boxes and can’t say enough good things about them. If there were items I already had or weren’t my style I would give those items as gifts. https://causebox.com
I got the fabfitfun box today – thanks!
You are so welcome, Holly-Marie!
