  Yes, the characters included can be used on other games and vice versa. You’re really only paying for the Bluetooth portal. Currently there are 4 apps you can download characters to and play. My 13 year olds enjoyed Skylanders since it first came now. They have since grown out of it but my 4 year old has taken over. 🙂
