Can someone compare this to Sams for me?

I don’t find the membership worth it as far as gas is concerned. The price of gas at my local BJ’s is usually 2 or 3 cents lower than the gas stations within 1/8 of a mile radius of BJ’s . However, drive a quarter of a mile down the street and gas would usually be at least 5 cents cheaper than BJ’s gas. So, why pay for membership when I can get gas for less without having to pay for membership?

Again, this is what I’ve observed at my local BJ’s and may not be true for all BJ’s locations.

We use both BJ’s and Sam’s Club

In my opinion Sam’s is better but for us bis is closer to home. They offer didnt name brand products but not to much to mention.

BJ’s has their own coupons you can use in the store. They have digital you download to your account and they send you paper ones too. You can stack their coupons with manufacture coupons for even higher saving. My BJ’s is alway 5-8 cents cheaper than even Walmart.

I bought an online only BJs membership for $10 I think thanks to Hip. Have used it to get some deals on gift cards and have saved more than the $10. No BJs in Texas as far as I know.

My Sam’s club closed last year, I joined BJs when they had a similar deal. I used my BJs membership more than Sam’s even though Sam’s was closer. BJs in house brand has always been high quality, I can’t think of any product that I wasn’t satisfied with. They have less fresh fruit and veggies than Sam’s but have all the essentials. I did not renew my BJs membership though because I had a few items that were close to expiration when I bought them, I of course didn’t notice until I had thrown out the receipt, plus I didn’t want to pay full price. I’m looking for a deal on Costco at the moment.
