8 Ridiculously Easy Ways to Simplify Your Beauty Routine Every Day
Simply beautiful!
Whether you’re looking for a 5-minute face or minimizing the products you use, follow these ridiculously easy tips to simplify your morning beauty routine. You’ll be out the door looking flawless in no time!
1. Use concealer under your eyes or mix into your foundation for extra moisture.
🏆 My top pick for concealer | Urban Decay – “Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer”
Pulling double duty will speed up your routine and require less investment upfront.
2. Or skip the foundation and wear a tinted moisturizer.
🏆 My top pick for tinted moisturizer | L’Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Glotion
You don’t need to cake on layers of foundation to have a glow. Try a tinted moisturizer that’s quick to apply and keeps you looking flawless.
3. Use your eyebrow pencil as eyeliner and to fill in your brows.
🏆 My top pick for an eyebrow pencil | Anastasia Beverly Hill Brown Definer
Skip the extra makeup pencil and have it perform two jobs in one.
4. Bring pink lip balm along for eye shadow, blush, and your lips.
🏆 My top pick for pulling triple duty | Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm
Some small purses can barely fit more than your phone, so take a pretty pink lip balm to pull triple duty when you’re not able to pack a lot.
5. Consider eyelash extensions to nix mascara altogether.
While they may not be for everyone (and there are some cons to think about), getting eyelash extensions can be a huge time saver.
6. Define a signature look so getting ready is effortless.
Whether you look great with a bold red lip, cat-eye eyeliner, or a natural colored eye shadow, streamlining your routine (and what looks best on you) makes getting ready simple.
7. Don’t wear any makeup at all and rock that natural beauty!
🏆 My top pick for face wash | KIEHL’S SINCE 1851 Ultra Facial Cleanser
🏆 My top pick for moisturizer | Neutrogena Hydro Boost Unscented Gel Cream
I’ve always said that it’s better to invest in your skincare than having to buy products to cover it up. Develop a simple routine for washing and moisturizing your skin daily, and you’ll likely need less makeup, to begin with.
8. Don’t buy more makeup until the stuff you have is gone.
Having too much of the same thing complicates getting ready (you can lose makeup in your makeup bag when it’s buried). Stick to what works, and replace when you’re almost out.

Number 8 is soooo hard. First world problems, I know. LOL.
LOL! That one is hard for me too!
I saw a girl in the news that lost her vision from extensions, so be careful with that one.
I was intrigued so I Googled this one. It looks like the woman was temporarily blinded because the person who applied her extensions used NAIL GLUE instead of lash glue. I don’t think the process, if correctly performed, is dangerous. Just like many things, you need to make sure you get it done by a QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL who takes appropriate precautions and doesn’t cut corners.
I think professional lash tinting is much safer. Plus it lasts months for me.
Number 7- got that covered!
Ha ! I wear 0 makeup each and everyday. I do not know one other person i can say that about. There is really no reason except that i grew up being raised by a male. I never had a female to show me tips and tricks or anything. Now if i put it on i feel odd and like i stand out awkwardly. Lol. People comment all the time that i have beautiful skin & i dont need makeup anyway. Whether i do or not is an opinion but i def see that other women my age 32 have more wrinkles, dry spots and blotches & thats noticing thru the makeup they have on. Again whether i look better with or without is a matter of opinion but i have always done the no makeup thing. I say ROCK IT OUT HBee !!!!!!!!!
Love this post and all of your lifestyle tips and suggestions! Finding deals is a great help but sometimes it also helps to hear what other women are using in their life that is helping them. By the way, what is the mirror in the picture at the beginning of the post? I’ve been trying to find a good travel make up mirror.
Love Hip2Save!❤️

#7 is good advice. No point layering on make up if skins itchy, dry, irritated etc..and less is always best imo.
Thx so much for these tips.I never thought about the chubby stick for more than lips ..This is such a great idea.I really like the idea of the tinted moisturizer, that seems like a good timesaver for me ..keep up the good work and God bless.
You’re SO very welcome! Thanks a bunch for the sweet feedback! ❤️ Glad these tips have been helpful!
#7 YES. I don’t wear/own anything except mascara and eyeliner. I try to focus on skin and hair care. Natural beauty is best. ❤️
#7 all the way!!!
🙌
#7, yes! Just lipstick and/or lipgloss. I’m a slow-poke, so this works out best for me. I wear make up only on special occasions, like wedding. My daily routine is facial essence, vit c serum, moisturizer, eye cream, and sunscreen. Every single day. Still quite a production, but if have to put on make up, I have to wake up really early!
I can get away with putting lip color on my cheeks but if I try to use it as eyeshadow, I look like I have an eye infection or allergy problem. It might work well for someone with a different skin tone, though. Also, reducing the amount of stuff in my daily bag does save time. Shuffling through all the tubes, bottles, and pallettes takes time!
I agree! I was thinking of using pink as an eyeshadow?? I’d totally just look like I had a black eye or bad allergies or something. But I have pale skin so maybe some with darker skin tones could pull that off.
#7 yes!! It’s cheap, easy, fast, healthy… honestly there are no downsides!
There is for me. If I don’t wear some kind of make-up to work people ask me if I’m feeling okay. Guess I look washed out or something. Too pale.
A long time ago (I’m 43 LOL)–in my early 20’s I had a professional makeup person show me how to do things–he used eye shadow on eyebrows. I pluck mine and use eye shadow and apply it with one of those brushes that have vertical bristles –(I think called a brush and comb)–anyways–I always get compliments on my eyebrows. It looks natural and easy to do. And no–it doesn’t come off until washed (I’ve used cheap brands like maybelline to urban decay).
I got the eyebrow tattoo pens on Wish (so much cheaper there). I absolutely love them. Makes filling in eyebrows so quick and they look flawless. And yes it just washes off in the evenings with my face wash.
Point no. 7 is the best of all
