Every time I try, it says there was an “issue creating your account”
Their site sucks. I just get an endless signup loop. The FAQs don’t address purchases before joining.
They also don’t have a customer service phone number. I don’t do email support. It is just a way for them to avoid having to actually deal with upset customers.
Did you already create an ordering account with that same email address? If you did, then find the link to join the rewards program with that existing account.
Melissa, I have the same issue. I tried 2 different email addresses and still received the same message. Frustrating. If anybody has success, I would like to know otherwise this deal is no good.
I had that issue and it was because I was using an email address I previously used for an online order. Try logging in with that email first. Hope that helps.
SO GLAD they finally made a rewards program. Honestly, it’s about time. Was getting to think they were stingy 😂
Too bad the sign-up process doesn’t work. It is stuck in an endless loop of joining and then immediately being asked to join again. Now all I have is an ordering account I don’t want. Also, the people working their Twitter account are ignoring me. They are only giving the stock reply of “soon” to anyone that complains about the broken sign-up process. I signed up over three hours ago, and I still have received a confirmation email or text.

I finally got the welcome email at 2:37am CT. That is over 11 hours after I first tried signing up.

For those who have the app already it was pretty simple to sign up. I just went to my Chipotle app, and when they mentioned the Rewards program was prompted to update the app. Clicked on Join Now and it went through seamlessly.
The purchase has to be at least $5 to get the free chips and guac.
I am a little confused. When do you sign up for the Venmo account and how is it connected to the Chipotle account? I saw people saying they already have the Chipotle app and then they signed up for the rewards program. I thought the app was the rewards program. In other words I downloaded the app today and I signed up for what I thought was the rewards program but I never got anything telling me about the Venmo deal.
