To get your free COVID tests, just head to the USPS site to submit your request.
Follow these simple steps to get your COVID test kits via USPS for free:
- Head to the USPS website.
- Fill out your first name, last name, and your email address (if you’d like to be notified of shipping).
- Fill out your shipping address.
- Click the green “Check Out Now” button.
- Orders will ship free starting the week of December 19, 2022.
Keep in mind this offer is limited to only one order per residential address.
Need COVID test kits sooner?
You may be able to receive reimbursement through your health insurance for up to 8 COVID test kits per month. If your health insurance offers direct coverage, test kits may be free during checkout from a pharmacy either in-store or online. Otherwise, hold onto your receipt, and you may be able to submit it for reimbursement for up to $12 per test.
Note that this can vary from one insurance company to the next. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has a helpful website with more information on this program.
*Keep in mind that there has been a warning issued on taking special care of the contents of each test kit. Be sure to keep them out of reach of children and wrap them up well when disposing of them.

Thanks, we just went through a round of Covid for Thanksgiving 🤦🏼♀️🙄 and now we are out of test kits. If you need more than this, a lot of insurances pay for up to 8 kits per member per month. We had ordered some last month through CVS and picked them up at the front counter.
