Wondering how long this deal is going on? I have wanted these for the grandkids. There is 3 of them and they always bring their lunch from home.

    • Janis

I hope your grandkids are adults because they’ll have to have access to an electrical outlet. This won’t work for children.

  2. Tiff

Thank you! One for me and two put aside for Christmas! Gotta start stocking up! Thanks for posting great deals!

    • Kimberly (Stylish Sidekick)

      You’re welcome Tiff!

  3. Sue

Before I retired from teaching, I used this lunch crockpot nearly every day. It was great for soup or leftovers from dinner the night before. Although our faculty room had two microwaves, there was always a line of teachers waiting to heat up their lunches, so it was a real time saver. I can personally vouch for it making a great teacher gift!

    • Jessica (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thank you so much for sharing your experience, Sue! 😀

  4. Cindy

I also got 3. What a great deal and gift idea!

  5. Robyn C

Thanks for posting! Just bought 3 for teacher’s gifts later this year!

    • Jessica (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Woohoo! You are very welcome! 😀

  6. Amy

Thank you!! I’m covered early now for teacher Christmas presents! I bought 6: one for each of my girls’ teachers and one for each of their “specials” teachers like music, computers, P.E., etc. Those teachers are sometimes forgotten in the teacher gift-giving at Christmas, but they work just as hard!

    • Jessica (Hip2Save Sidekick)

You are very welcome. 😀 That is so sweet of you Amy! What thoughtful ideas!

  7. DonnaDB

Thanks I just ordered three for Christmas! Super Excited!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    $9.66 at Walmart regularly

    • Kristin

Walmart.com is showing $19.94 right now.

    • Shan

Is it in store at Walmart? Online they’re $19.

  9. Peggy

    Do these plug in?

    • quadshot

Yes. The cord wraps around the base and locks flat into the bottom when not in use. It’s a pretty handy deal, but I do sometime wish the electric base was detachable (it is on the newer models – thus the closeout price on these!)

      • barbara

hi it looks like the base is detatchable on these. can someone look at the description and see if it is the newer or the older model? thanks gor your help

Can someone tell me how much you can smell the contents while warming??? I’d love to be able to plug this in for my daughter during a long gymnastics practice for a hot meal on the way home, but it’s not fair for me to have everyone in the parent observation area smelling her yummy food!

    • quadshot

They don’t :-). My coworkers were surprised to learn I had been warming TUNA helper at my desk all week!! They didn’t smell a thing. There is an inner lid on the bowl in addition to the outer lid you can see in the picture, so it’s sealed up pretty good.

  13. Cathy

I just ordered 3 through Ebates! 4% cash back better than nothing! Thank you! One for me and 2 for Christmas gifts! 👍🏻

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re very welcome Cathy!

In love with my warmer! I got three the last time they were on sale for this price. No more wasting at least five minutes of my lunch break waiting for my food to warm up because I also have to wait in line for a microwave! I plug it in 60-90 minutes before I want to eat. I highly suggest getting additional bowls, as I find it so nice to make meals ahead and put them in the bowls and then just grab a new bowl out of the fridge each day of the week (as opposed to having to wash the one that comes with the unit every night and refill it). It’s sad that Crock Pot also wants $10 for just the bowls too!! Ugh!! But I did find a 30% off coupon code when I ordered mine. I see there is a 20% off coupon code right now (it’s listed at Crock Pot’s site). I just remember how much money I am saving packing my lunch every day and the bowls seem like a great deal when I look at that way :-).

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the awesome review! Glad to hear you have been able to save money buy using these for your lunch each day! 😉

  15. Tina

Does this work well for children school lunch, knowing they won’t be able to plug them in at the school?

    • Quadshot

These are not for school children in my opinion, as the warmers need to be plugged in to an electrical outlet to heat the food. No part of this lunch crock is microwave safe. I also do not think they are insulated enough to warm food at home to be eaten four or so hours later, if that’s your question! It takes 60-90 minutes in my experience to heat food to a desirable temperature.

      • Tina

Thank you so much, you saved me a $30 mistake.

      • Shawn Perreault

Thank you! I was wondering the same thing.

  16. Shawn Perreault

OK – I know this is a very stupid question. Do you plug the crock in at work and then leave it til lunch?

    • quadshot

Yes! I plug mine in about 60-90 minutes before I plan to go on lunch break.

      • Shawn Perreault

So, do you put this in the staff fridge and then take it out 60-90 minutes before hand to plug in?

        • quadshot

Sure, that would work! Personally I leave the Crock itself in my desk drawer and only take the inner bowl to and from work. I bring a small cooler with other stuff that needs to stay cold with an ice pack and I keep it at my desk. Then about 60-90 minutes before I want to go to lunch, I pull the bowl out of my cooler and get the Crock out of my drawer and plug it all in. Then when I go to lunch I take the whole unit with me because once it’s warmed up the inner bowl would be too hot to carry by itself. It’s got a really nice carry handle on it and I got the pink and white one so it’s cute too!!

  17. Gina

It’s not giving me free shipping 😩

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! I am still getting Free Shipping. Be sure you have the “Standard Shipping” option selected. If still having issues, maybe try a different browser. Hope this helps!

  18. Mamarenie

Heads up.. my local Walmart had these for 3 bucks.
I almost bought one, wish I would have for my husband. He never knows when he’s going to eat lunch, depends on how many patients he has to see and treat that day. Would have been nice.
My pregnancy brain wasn’t working. 🙄

    • Shan

Wow! Were they in the clearance section & what state are you in? Thanks!

  19. NV

8% through TopCashBack! Great deal! Grabbed a few for gifts and one for myself 🙂

  20. Flvs

    In store always 9.66

    • Denise

What store are you referring to?

  21. Nancy

I just tried to order these and they are calculating at full price with no discount. So I guess this deal is no longer being accepted.
