Hey Collin, not sure what’s happening with the site, but unfortunately there are TONS of ads that are overtaking the deals these days. I’ve loved this site since my kids were in diapers, but these ads got me rethinking my deals site. 🙁

Because it is super important to us to keep Hip2Save 100% free to everyone, we do have ads that run throughout the site. These ads bring in extra revenue so that we can pay our amazing team of writers (Hip2Save employs so many parents and enables them to work from home – we are so proud of this!), pay for the hosting that keeps this site up and running, pay to send out emails, pay for web development etc. And yes Collin and myself get paid as well as this is our full-time job. 🙂
So instead of feeling frustrated when you come across an ad on Hip2Save, my hope is that you’ll now recognize the why behind the ads and continue to support Hip2Save.
