I was looking for more info on the Marco’s deal but the link above just takes you to the website
Sorry for any confusion, Rn404. The list that Marco’s is included with is part of the Election Day offers we’ve spotted in the past – hoping they may offer a similar deal or freebie again this year! 🤞
Most of these offers are actually NOT LEGAL.
This happens every presidential election. Offers that require you to show your “I voted” sticker, or any other proof of voting or registering to vote, for any election that has a Federal candidate on the ballot, are considered a “payment” for a vote, and could result in a fine of up to $10k or 5 years in prison.
This is an incentive to get out and vote they are not actually telling you who to vote for. Now if they said vote for Joe Dirt and we will give you blank. Now that is Illegal. Offering a goodie for voting in general is not.
Incorrect.
