This throw is comfy, soft, and warm. Just what the doctor ordered. My son has been asking for a heated blanket for a long time now, so I decided to get this one. It is a beautiful red color and is so, so, so soft. Then you have the heat that is just wonderful. The blanket heats up in a good amount of time, and it gets pretty warm when set to high.
The controller is intuitive. You turn it on and hit mode until the setting you want to change is blinking. You can turn the heat level up or down or set the timer for 2, 4, or 6 hours.
I love that it has auto turn-off and safety features. Since I got this blanket primarily for my 12-year-old son to use, it brings me peace of mind to know that I don’t have to worry about him forgetting to turn it off and risking a fire or something. I remember as a kid having a couple of heated blankets with burn marks from them overheating in spots and almost catching fire. So the safety features are the only reason I got this for him. And I am glad I did because this blanket is just wonderful. It is just the right size to cover up while lounging in the recliner at night and to full-on relax after the kids have gone to bed.
