US residents ages 21 and older can enter the HGTV Smart Home 2023 Sweepstakes twice daily now through June 9th at 5 p.m. EST. Enter once per day on HGTV.com and once per day on FoodNetwork.com. You can also sign up for email reminders to help you remember to enter every day.

I don’t know what I would go for either the house or the cash. That’s a good question if you take the cash you pay taxes and then you’re done. The house you would have to pay continuous taxes, and taxes right when you win too, yikes! House is gorgeous

It seems the the winner and her family of the 2022’s HGTV Dream Home made their way to Vermont and are currently living in the home they won. When doing a quick search on this question, this answer popped up – “In February 2018, Country Living magazine reported that of the first 21 winners of the sweepstakes, only six actually lived in the home for more than a year. “The vast majority either took the cash alternative or sold the house back to the developer within a year of winning,” the report says.” Hoping that is helpful! 💕
