Reading the reviews it’s talking about not being able to update after 2024 so then it will no longer work? I’m not tech savvy I want get my girls tablet/chrome book but I’m a single mom so need to get a good deal on two any help tia
They are referring to when updates/support ends. All Chromebooks that I’m aware get free updates for 5 years. So 2024 would mean this came out in 2019. Sounds odd since it should be 2026 since you are buying it now. Either way, the Chromebook will work fine after 2024/2026. I have a very old desktop that is running Windows XP. Works great although Microsoft stopped updates, etc several years ago. So same thing here. This is a great deal, especially for children for school from home, watching Youtube, etc.

I bought this hp at target this week for my kids school work. Another option for those like me not wanting chromebooks and don’t want to spend a whole lot on a laptop the kids will damage.
