I have never been very fond of using a loofah. I feel like you can never get the soap out of them and it doesn’t take long for them to get limp and start unraveling. The bristles on this scrubber are way softer than they look. The handle is great and easy to keep hold of when using. It lathers just as well as a loofah or washcloth but is easier to get the soap out of. I love that you get a little exfoliating with it but that it isn’t harsh on your skin. I think I have found my permanent replacement for loofahs.
I bought this as I wanted to stop using the mesh poofs. I changed to a product like this as I felt it could be adequately cleaned and continued to be used instead of needing to be discarded, as is the recommendation for mesh poofs. This product retains its shape and doesn’t get frayed out like poofs do. The silicone nubs are nice and soft and none of them have snapped off during use over the last few months. Design was well thought out. Its shape allows you to easily hold onto it while in use. I appreciate the loop so I can hang it up to dry.
