This is an amazing service. I received a Legacybox as a gift from my parents to convert my old VHS dance recitals and high school musicals to DVD. I was really nervous about sending out 20 VHS tapes that couldn’t be replaced but the company kept me informed throughout the process which eased my nerves. They shipped me back the original VHS tapes with the new DVDs all labeled according to my instructions. The video quality is the same as the VHS tapes were but I knew that going in. I was nervous too, but I think it really depends on the outcome you’re expecting. For us, we just had a bunch of old VHS and Betamax tapes we wanted to be converted to digital form. Everything went great! It does take a while for the digital files to come back. But they’re all in a Google Drive and I was easily able to share the link with everyone in my family. So if you’re trying to do something similar, I say go for it. I have a set of old reels from my grandparents that I’m afraid to send off though. Which is silly.
