My daughter is having a blast with these. Tons of pieces, presorted, and great instructions. She’s working on an animal sanctuary, comprised of penguins, a parrot and unicorns so far.
My son (5) loved these animal LEGOs! After he built all of them, he created a zoo for them to live in! This set was a great price and has provided hours and hours of fun. It has also helped build his fine motor skills and developed his love for LEGOs!
I purchased this item for a Christmas present for my stepson. Let me just say that this box is HUGE! This is the first year he started requesting LEGOs and let me just say, LEGOs are NOT CHEAP. This made me feel like I got him one of those huge sets for the fraction of the cost. This is a great kit for any younger kid wanting getting interested in LEGOs and also for any advanced kid to build onto their LEGO collection!

This lego set was I believe $28 last year. We bought it for our son and he liked it although the regular creator sets has better blocks than this animal creator set. Better as in squares and rectangles good for buildings and walls and such while building. This set had a lot of small random pieces.
