I wish I had known about this site sooner! I have been procrastinating putting a wedding photo album together, and it was SO easy on their site. I could pick the photo layout template based on the number of photos I wanted per page, organize them by single page or 2-page spread, drag-and-drop to upload and place them on that page, and BOOM — photo album done. If you want to get really fancy, you can customize everything from the cover photos/colors/font, page layouts, and photo sizes, text on pages, or even make it into a guest book. And most importantly, the quality is AMAZING. No shade at Walgreens, but the photos print much more true to color than photobooks I’ve gotten there. You really get what you pay for! I opted for a flat lay book and highly recommend it because it makes the 2-page spread collages that span the pages look so high-end. And the page paper is a thick cardstock, so I know this will hold up for a lifetime. Truly couldn’t be more impressed with this photo book!

    Hi,
I would just like to post my honest review on a recent order I placed for MixBook. I ordered the Premium Layflat Luxe 12×12” book for wedding photos and thought the website/app interface was very easy to use, fun, and personalizable. For a fun, family photobook, I would say it’s not too bad. However, if you’re looking for something more high quality, I would try a different company. Some of the ink on the printing did not transfer completely at the center (possibly due to it being layflat), and the corner of the book was slightly bent, along with the free photo box which came with the album I chose being damaged (not a super big deal to me). I know they claim “satisfaction guaranteed” on their website, but I’ve read a lot of reviews of people complaining about receiving a coupon for another order, having the order reprinted and delivered with the same problem, and even having the order sent to a different household. So I would advise ordering at your own risk. My biggest gripe with the company was the long shipping time (possibly depending on number of pages you order), which took 16 days to arrive despite me paying for shipping cost. Even with 50% off and free shipping, sometimes you can get a better deal on certain holidays with the promo code they give. Also, just a heads up, the free video book is just a slideshow of the images you post in a collage format—nothing spectacular. So for a simple, fun photo book to have on your coffee table for guests to view, I would say it’s worth it. But if you’re looking for something that’s high quality, where guests would rave about, I would put in more money for a better quality photo book from a different company.
