This trash can has a motion sensor that opens the lid automatically! Simply wave your hand above the sensor at the front of the lid and it opens automatically. It’s simple enough for kids to use, too! You never need to worry about having your hands full and struggling with a pesky lid again. Plus, after being open for 5 seconds, the lid automatically closes.
It’s made from durable hard plastic and features flat sides allowing it to be placed against a wall or cabinet without taking up much space. Note that the trash can uses 4-AA batteries, which are not included.
I have this, I got it in store for the price you listed. I hung onto the receipt because, honestly, I thought there was no way this was going to be good at this price point because others cost so much more. I WAS WRONG! We have a similar hands-free trashcan and I love it. The only problem is, we also have a very smart dog who discovered with the pass of his nose over the sensor, he could have access to a 24hr buffet. Just a word of warning to those with smart puppers!
