Works great! We have a large dog and cats that shed a lot. I vacuum often but there seems to still be a lingering dog smell around the house. This unit made the air feel and smell so clean! After a full day of running it in our open floor plan, there was a noticeable cleaner/fresher feel – I did not smell the musty smell of animals anymore. Even after cooking, the unit was able to get rid of any food smells within an hour or so. I would definitely recommend this for anyone with pets and allergies. It’s easy to use and move from room to room.
Also, the unit is super quiet when on and since I run the unit constantly, it’s nice that it’s so quiet. I would think if I didn’t have all the animals I would probably only run it for four hours a day
The unit is compact, attractive, and very quiet. I was skeptical of the claim that it would reduce and/or eliminate airborne odors, but after using the air filter for a month (in a basement) I can attest that the air is fresher and odor free. Would recommend.
Bought 3 of these . We’ve noticed a difference in air quality in our home. We have an English bulldog and he sheds only 365 days a year. Not only dog dander, but pollen in our home have made it impossible, constantly sneezing.. since we purchased the PuroAir purifiers we’ve stopped sneezing . Great product!

Not to be a downer, but 4 of my best friends and myself all bought the Pura with high hopes. They didn’t smell and they sent new ones, still you had to bend down next to it and smell to get a faint whiff. I was so disappointed. Great concept, just a bust.

I was not a believer in air purifiers but after having this, I am sold! We got this for pollen season, it works.
We have it set on auto mode so it will kick on higher if it detects air pollutants. When we open the door to
let the dogs outside it will kick on from across the room just from the outside air. Sometimes it kicks on
with cooking too when we are frying. I have checked the filter a few times since having it and it’s very dirty
already!
