I’ve owned multiple versions of Roomba’s over the years and this vacuum outdoes them all. It even manages to get the dirt out of the carpet that expensive manual vacuums don’t reach. I’ve been using this vacuum for several months on all types of flooring and ages of carpet. I have a cat who sheds terribly and two small dogs. I just can’t say enough good things about this vacuum. It was getting so much out of the carpet on a regular basis I decided to experiment and vacuum the carpet myself first one day. It still got an unbelievable amount of dirt and hair out of the carpet. I’m not convinced it isn’t managing to pull dirt through the carpet that was there from a previous owner of the home.
While my Roombas always did random patterns to clean, this one starts and works in straight line patterns turning and vacuuming the space immediately next to what it just completed. You can see the vacuum pattern in the carpet when it is done which might annoy some but that’s how I can tell it didn’t miss anything in the room. This thing is amazing. Plus, it’s easy to dump the vacuum bin and clean the rollers.

This is nothing short of amazing. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to unbox and get started. The software is very easy to configure. I could easily map all 3 stories of our home and program the “no-go” zones with ease. No need to worry about the robot falling down the stairs either since the sensors detect stairways and stop it. The vacuum has great power as well. There is something very satisfying about getting up in the morning and walking out to a freshly striped and vacuumed carpet. I also want to note how quiet it is. The Auto-Empty dock is amazing also. It does exactly what it is advertised to do.
My wife has not used her central vacuum once since we have been using this for 6 days. In our home, she did most of the vacuuming so this is a real time saver for her! You will not regret purchasing this robotic vac!
