Celebrate all things Irish with these St. Patrick’s Day deals and freebies!

In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, some restaurants and retailers join in the fun by offering special deals on food and beverages on March 17th. Whether you’re planning to celebrate with pints and parades or shamrocks and shenanigans, you can definitely participate without breaking the bank!

In 2023, finding a good St. Patrick’s Day deal fefelt a little bit like searching for that elusive pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. While many restaurants are served up traditional Irish foods and green variations of their standard menu items, there weren’t a whole lot of actual deals.

We’ll be updating this post with all of the best St. Patrick’s day deals of 2024 as they’re announced. In the meantime, here are all the best St. Patrick’s Day deals of 2023 so far:

ALDI had inexpensive pints of ice cream.

Who says your St. Patrick’s day pint needs to be filled with beer? In 2023, ALDI had St. Patrick’s Day-themed pints of ice cream for just $1.99 each. The festive flavors included Shamrockin’ Swirl and Luck O’ The Cookie Dough!

Applebee’s served up Saintly Sips for just $6 each!

During March of 2023, you could swing by your local Applebee’s Grill & Bar, where they had Saintly Sips in honor of St. Patrick’s Day for just $6! The Tipsy Leprechaun and the Captain Morgan Pot O’ Gold Colada were available at this special St. Patrick’s Day deal price.

10% off St. Patrick’s Day mini-cupcakes from Baked by Melissa

In 2023, Baked by Melissa had St. Patrick’s Day mini cupcakes in flavors like Rainbow Cookie, Triple Chocolate Fudge, and Lucky Charm, which featured a green vanilla cake filled with gooey brownie batter and topped with sugar cookie icing and gold brittle.

Chili’s had a $6 Lucky Jameson Margarita. 

Inspired by St. Patrick’s Day, Chili’s Marg of the Month for March 2023 was the Lucky Jameson Margarita. It was made with Lunazul Blanco Tequila, Triple Sec, Jameson Irish Whiskey, and fresh sour. Prices varied by location, but most Chili’s restaurants had it priced at just $6!

Costco’s shamrock ravioli returned for around $10!

If you have a hard time getting the kids excited about corned beef and cabbage, try serving up Costco’s popular Shamrock-Shaped Five Cheese Ravioli. Prices did vary by store, but we found them in big 32-oz. packages for just $9.89!

Dunkin Rewards members could get an Irish Creme Flavored Iced Coffee for just $2.

For St. Patrick’s Day 2023, Dunkin offered its Irish Creme Flavored Coffee as an exclusive menu item for Dunkin’ Rewards members.

This beverage blends coffee with a hint of vanilla and the flavor of Irish cream. Even better, Dunkin’ Rewards members could use their $2 Medium Iced Coffee Rewards Offer to purchase an Irish Creme Flavored Iced Coffee for just two bucks!

Krispy Kreme gave out FREE glazed doughnuts.

Guests who wore green to Krispy Kreme on March 16th and 17th, 2023 received a FREE O’riginal Glazed Doughnut (no purchase necessary)! This offer was valid in-shop, for pick-up, or at the drive-thru.

Free avocado on your Potbelly order

For three days in March, customers ordering online or through the Potbelly App could use promo code AVOCADO to get FREE avocado on an entrée. You did NOT need to be a Perks member to take advantage of this promo, but it was only valid online or through the app.

STK had a St. Patrick’s Day deal on Corned Beef Sliders and Tots during happy hour.

On March 17th, 2023, you could grab Lil’ Corned Beef Slider and Tots at STK for just $6 during Happy Hour (regularly $24 for two sliders)! You could also try STK’s Leprechaun Stiletto cocktail for just $9 during Happy Hour (regularly $21).
