You can count on these great Advent deals from Target…
These wooden advent calendars features a 24-day countdown with drawers you can open and put your own treats in making it the perfect way to countdown the days until Christmas!
You could also add your unique spin by writing a special activity on a piece of paper and slipping that into the daily slot. Each day your kids can open it to find out what special activity they’ll get to do!
Another idea would be to number several small gifts or treat bags and then put a different number in each of the advent calendar’s daily slots.

Would love an article (mid November) on ideas for what people put in these. I did some croc jibitz for my teen last year. Can think of anything this year.
Thanks for the suggestion, Lisa! I’ll pass this along to the team! 🤗 Croc Jibitz sounds like a fun idea!
Hey again Lisa! 🤗 We loved your question and decided to ask it to readers on Facebook. We have that post here, if you wanted to check it out to see what others may be suggesting for advent calendar items! ❤️ Hope this helps!
Advent calendars are super fun. I’d forget in Nov so here goes my list: mini candy, tip Halloween clearance candy will still be good to fill an Advent. Give a cup first then Tea bags or K cups, write love notes, scratch tickets, positive encouragement notes, different cocoa packets, chapsticks, tea light candles tip: wrap each in alum foil to hide the scent, same alum foil for little bath soaps. Give a mini tree on Nov 30th with the Advent to start on Dec 1; put a mini ornament in each drawer. Yoga fan print poses and mantras to stuff in each drawer, scripture verse of the story of Jesus, face mask packets, essential oils bottles and gummy fruit snacks. You could make it proactive by writing clues in each drawer, the recipient guesses right and gets the days gift.
Part of a gift theme for example, I did one with a matchbox car everyday for a big race track that was the Christmas gift. Packets of seeds for Christmas gift of gardening tools. Individual paint pots or tubes and a brush set for the Christmas gift. Same could work with charcoals, shaper and sharpener for an artist. Every year I make a few to start the season and have never done a repeat. These can be so much fun; think about whos getting it and what they like. There’s a way to work it out, it shows someone you care enough to think about what would make them smile. Bonus they think of you every time they open a drawer. I hope this helps you with ideas and start thinking of some yourself.
Thank you SO much for this amazing list of ideas! Super helpful! 💞🤗
