Theres only so much Disney and Pixar i can handle. Besides, I like horror movies and comedy movies with obscene amounts of cussing and sex, which i wont get with Disney movies. Ha!

    • Ann

True, though I’m thinking the bundle package will have a good amount of everything

    • Eva

      They have Marvel movies

  2. Ann

Do you think they’ll run a special on Cyber Monday?

  3. Sara

Do you think you’ll be able to get the Hulu without commercials?

  4. jessie

Verizon unlimited plans get it free for a year!

    • evamiles

Thank you so much for commenting! We were about to pay for it and then I saw what you wrote!

    • Erica

What do they get free for a year….Disney or Hulu+? Thanks!

      • Mary

Disney Plus only. The bundle is extra. If you go to the Verizon website and log in to your account it takes you through enrolling for Disney Plus. It does tell you when you sign up that you are getting the first year free but you will have to remember to cancel because after a year it will charge your account the $6.99 monthly fee.

        • Aleshia

I am eligible for this promotion, but I do not see the link when I sign into my verizon account. Am I missing something?

          • Mary

On the Verizon home page it has a big ad for Disney Plus. Click through that where it says “get started”. Then on the next screen under where it says “Already Have Unlimited?” click on “Get Disney +”. When you log into your account it will be the first thing that pops up, asking you to accept Disney Plus.

        • Jengravley

Do you know if this is for personal accounts only? Or if it includes business accounts also?

          • Jana Gramaglia

            Business accounts are excluded unfortunately.

  5. Sara

I’m surprised most people commenting are not excited for this. I’m not a big Disney fan and I actually don’t have a tv (we find the computer, tablets, and phones suffice) but I’m really interested in it and may just get a big screen tv and sign up! Lol!
Because I am out of the loop with TVs and subscriptions…are the shows on demand or at scheduled times. And some shows are available when others are not? Then they will switch? (Sorry for the dumb question)

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

The shows will be on demand so you can click over and watch them whenever you want. You can even download them and watch them when WiFi is unavailable. They will have over 600 movies/shows available as of tomorrow and expect to add new content regularly.
If they follow Netlfix’s model, they will rotate out older ones to bring in new shows, but I think they’ll keep their popular Disney Vault movies on there at all times. But that last part is just my thoughts. 😀

      • Sara

        Thank you!

      • Nikki

I am not sure if they will rotate. Netflix only rotates due to licensing being over, I can’t think of any Netflix originals which have left Netflix. I could be completely wrong but rotating out their own content just seems odd. If another one is coming out of the vault I could see taking it off a few months maybe even a year prior to boost DVD sales and bringing it back though. That’s the one issue with the model, and will be interesting how it plays out over time, if they do something like that it feels like a bait and switch, once you spent $30 on the ultra 4k with a digital code for access on Disney+ or w/e and 6 months later it’s on streaming for everyone?

    • Cristine

I’m excited for this. With small kids in the house we need less and less of the obscene shows being added to Netflix all the time. This will probably replace Netflix for our family.

      • animity

Oh my goodness, YES! I can’t believe the language! I hate hearing language so most of the Netflix shows we don’t even watch. Too be honest, why do we still have Netflix, I may have to have a little chat with my husband about this….

  6. Jamie

I thought the new Dumbo wasn’t included?

    • Nancy

I signed up and Dumbo is on there

    • Mary

It shows it as available. However, when I click on it to watch it a message pops up saying “Sorry something went wrong. Please try again later.”

I do not see the new Lion King or the new Aladdin. Also, no Spiderman – Far From Home.

  7. Jennashley87

I’m absolutely beyond excited! I’m a Disney kid raising Disney kids so having all this to stream is way too exciting for us! We have been going to the library and renting the classics to share with my kids. It’s going to be family movie time a lot more this holiday season 😁

  8. Rebecca

Well we have Netflix, Hulu & Prime…but I’m still excited about this one! My kids are big Star Wars fans, that content alone does it for us lol. I would do the Hulu bundle but I just can’t with the commercials 😬

    • Michelle

So I guess you can’t get the bundle without commercials? 🙁

  9. Kiana M.

    Disney+ is available right now!

  10. Leavesbegintofall

I’m signed in. It’s awesome. Tons of movies I forgot all about. Plus stuff I haven’t seen yet- live action dumbo, lady and the tramp. I haven’t gotten to explore too much yet because my four year old needed Snow White stat. So excited and we are going to be so busy. See y’all in a few months. 😜

    • MK

Is the sign in to the app different than the sign in for D23.com when you signed up for it?

  11. madisongriffis

My mom ended up getting my boys(5&2) this for part of their christmas gifts, they love it so far. Lots to choose from and I love that they have a lot of the original movies from when I was a kid! We usually do movie/pizza friday and this has given us a lot more kid friendly options to watch while also being able to entertain us 🙂

  12. talbotkn

How do you get the bundle deal?

  13. moultonsplace@gmail.com

Do I cancel my current service with ESPN and HULU before I join this? Kathy

    • susan

No. They adjust Disney + pricing if you already have Hulu or espn+. Just make sure to use the same email associated with your other accounts.

  14. Stacey

Does this work for Firestick, or have they not ironed that out yet?

    • Stephanie

      Following

    • susan

      Yes. Works on fire

    • Hilary

Works on both our Fire TV and Fire Stick. That was a dealbreaker for me so glad they were able to work it out with Amazon.

  15. Amy

I have Verizon, but am on a family plan with my mom, she is the main person on the account. I’m hoping that I will be able to get the Disney plus as well! If not, I don’t think $6.99 a month is bad at all for all that is offered! So excited!!!

    • BlueHarvest

As long as she has the unlimited plan she can sign up and you can watch it on your device with her login. You can watch on 4 devices concurrently.

  16. Cristine

I don’t get it. I’m disappointed to see that my daughter’s favorites like Liv and Maddie and Bunk’d are not on the list. Hope they plan to add this content, especially since they had it on Netflix. I thought it was supposed to be all Disney content. 😕

    • Rita

If I were you, I’d consider myself lucky. My girls watched those shows all the time and just hearing the voices in the background just annoy me. I’m sure it won’t be long until they are on Disney + but enjoy it for now and watch KC Undercover on Disney +. It’s a pretty good show for kids.

      • Cristine

Lol. That’s a good way to look at it. There are some pretty annoying voices on there.

      • MJ

Omg I totally have all their annoying voices in my head now! That show is cute but the loud acting is painful background noise. I will check out KC undercover for my son, thanks for the tip!

    • Dave

They will be added eventually when their deal with Netflix ends. Those shows are currently running on Netflix. Same goes for Sophia the First and a few Marvel and Star Wars films like Black Panther. Eventually all Disney stuff will be taken off Netflix and brought over to Disney +.

  17. Joy

If I sign up for the 7 day free trial, can I upgrade to the bundle when it’s over?

  18. Dollar Revolution

Are most smart TVs / Firestick / Roku adding the app to their products?
Only interested if it’s easy to access via the TV remote, not through a tablet/phone/laptop only.

    • Mel

My smart tv had it at the top of thr apps page, I just had to add it to my homescreen.

    • Heather

Yes, we have a Fire TV, and today there was a huge ad to sign up when I turned the TV on. It’s very easy to access

      • Stacy

We are watching it on Roku as I type this.

  19. Heather

We signed up for the trial bc I was excited to show my kids more of the classics that I enjoyed as a child. Unfortunately, the first thing I clicked on (Aladdin) was not working.. And still isn’t. Several other things I’ve tried to put on have not worked as well. It says to call them if the issues persist. Hoping they work out all the glitches soon.

  20. mayramo21

For androide don’t have app just only Apple Store 🤔

    • Mama6

I think you may be able to log into your Amazon prime account and search for the Disney plus app for android and download it 🙂

  21. Ang McC

Just so anyone who’s confused why they’re having problems with the app working, getting error codes when they try to play shows or movies, etc., they’re overloaded I Disney’s end because they weren’t prepared for just how much traffic they were going to get on Day 1 but they’re working on it: https://twitter.com/disneyplus/status/1194279620264071168?s=20
This sometimes happens when new things launch and usually get ironed out within 48 hours.

  22. Chad W

So if you already have Hulu LIVE the $45.00 a month package, and you add this is it smarter to just add the $6.99 package from Disney, or better to get the $12.99 w/ ESPN? I am not sure what the totals would be, either way my 5 year old daughter is super excited

    • Hilary

We already had the Hulu Live, but when you add the bundle with Disney+ and ESPN+, the will credit your account $5.99 a month. You have to create your Disney+ account with the same email address you use for Hulu Live. I researched it a lot this morning. Hope that helps!

  23. Lindsay

Is anyone else having issues with streaming Disney Plus today? We were able to watch 1 show, and after that, we have not been able to stream anything else. We keep getting technical glitch errors.

  24. Michelle Bradley

I am trying to download but my registration is taking forever…anyone else?

  25. De

Dumb question but I signed up for the Verizon free Disney +. Its says to go to the App Store to download for my Ipad. Will I also be able to stream on my smart tv or just my IPad. I am dumb where this is concerned. TIA.

  26. Kimi

I was wondering if I already signed up for the 3 year deal.. can I stack the Verizon deal 1 year on top??

  27. Vicky

I signed up for it thinking we could watch on our Roku. But discovered our particular Roku model does not support it – only certain Roku models. So we can only watch it on iPads. Disappointing.

  28. Gail

We use and old fashioned antenna for our TV and that’s fine for us, we do have a firestick for watching movies. We’re not into sports much except NASCAR and since many of the races are on FS1 and/or NBCSN we can’t watch those. Does anyone know what channels are included with the Hulu and ESPN+. I can’t seem to find any info, all they want you to do is sign up.

    • Mama6

The first seven days is a free trial period. You will not be billed until that is over. This may give you a chance to explore your options with specific channels 🙂

      • maclunkey_fever

When I look at the Disney+ website, it shows that Disney+ alone for $6.99/mo has a 7-day free trial but the Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ bundle for $12.99/mo has “BUY NOW”. Is everyone else seeing this, too?

    • maclunkey_fever

I can’t speak to ESPN+ but the Hulu that’s offered in the bundle is its regular package: on-demand viewing of lists of TV shows from different networks, original programming, and movies. The shows have a lot of currently-airing showing from the major networks with them being available the day after they air. They have a lot of the popular FOX and ABC programming, since they’re both owned by Disney, as is Hulu. Hope that helps!

    • maclunkey_fever

I forgot to add that you can get a month free trial for Hulu if you’re unsure. That’s completely separate from the Disney deal and I believe only on their $12.99 ad-free package. Just cancel before it ends and you won’t be charged anything.

  29. Joyce

It says subject to taxes for the free year. Does anyone know if there is or is it completely free?

  30. Staci

I’d like to give a subscription to someone for Christmas but can’t find anything about gift cards. Has anyone seen anything? Disney is really dropping the ball if they don’t make them available for Christmas!
