If a veteran does not have their regular military ID available, can they use their DD214 form?

Many places I have read state “members must show proof of military service such as VA Universal Access Card, Military ID, DD-214 (discharge papers) Veterans Service Organization Card or Veteran designation on your driver license or ID card”

Yes, Steve. My dad uses his DD-214 all the time.

Steve most accept DD214 but I would recommend stopping at a VA and getting a veterans ID. Much easier to carry around
